Hmmm. maybe they don't count something as simple as airbrushing an "effect". That is done industry wide anyways. I wasn't thinking of the shaaks -- obviously they are an effect -- but just when they were talking and rolling around. They probably consider every angle a "shot" (going from Padme to Anankin to Padme, to a different angle of Padme, etc.). That would be my guess

Answer is definitely 'C'. Roughly about 2815-ish effects shots were created for AOTC. Only 2000 were used, out of a total of 2161 final shots.

answer: c -- in the asteroid cave withthe mynock. Good going guys! ;D I'm watching ESB right now and Chewie doesn't fire at all in the cave, so like I thought he doesn't use it until ROTJ. If that was from the calendar, they've got their wires crossed.

Ooops. Sorry. Just realized I never gave the answer to this one:
c. Daultay Dofine
And I double checked the novelization of Ep. 2. I also thought initilly it was Haako. Oh well. Can't tell one Neimodian from another

It's naturally red, but is lit blue while Luke is in it.

Correct. Red naturally.
Next question:
In A New Hope Obi-Wan makes a noise that distracts a pair of stormtroopers at the Death Star tractor beam. One of the troopers dismisses it as nothing but... what
