Sine I have this calendar, I htught I would post some of teh questions as they come up. So far they have all been pretty simple (as it is only the fifth day of the new year). But here is the hardest one they have had so far:
Of the following actors, who was not considered for the role of Han Solo?
1. Tom Selleck 2. Burt Reynolds 3. Christopher Walken 4. Nick Nolte
No cheating if you have this calendar!
Could you imagine Burt Reynolds as Han? Or brooding Christopher Walken? Yikes!
List your answers here. I will reveal the answer tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure the only one out of those who wasn't considered for Han Solo is Tom Selleck, though I think he was up for the role of Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost ark.

Yes! Tom Selleck was the first choice. But he had just got the Magnium P.I. and there was a conflict in shooting schedule.

Actually, Tom Selleck did something like an Indy role later on, and he did it pretty good. But it would have been acted differently than Harrison's. Actually Harrison has certain quirks and same boyish expressions from Solo to Hollywood Homicide. Guess I'm a Harrison Ford watcher alot-LOL!!! And if you think it, if someone else had won the part we would all think no one else but that actor would fill the part. We just got used to Harrison in the role. It's like fans freaking over anyone else but Leonard Nimoy as Spock-LOL!! JMD

When does Chewie FIRST fire his bowcaster?
I'll even give you choices:
a. on the first Death Star in ANH b. During the encounter with the probot on Hoth c. In the asteroid cave in ESB d. While attacking scout troopers on Endor

While that answer will probably change in May ( ) I'm pretty sure it's D.

I don't remember him actually firing on-screen in the ANH death star sequence so I'm going to go with C. He fired at a mynock which led to Han's initial realization they weren't in a cave but a space slug.
