Uh...I have no clue where this thread belongs or if it is even allowed to be posted here, so if need be, go ahead and tell me to move it, and I'll happily oblige.
Just wanted to make an announcement that I'm planning a small FanFilm before the end of the year or early next year. I don't have a script yet, or set ideas, or anything but a very minute storyline. And I'm not even sure about that. But I do know I want to make a FanFilm.
Right now I'm practicing with my dad's camera to get used to how it works and looking for a filmmaking class to take at the college, but no luck on that so far.
If there is anyone interested in being an actor/actress, propsmaker, setbuilder/decorator, or any part of the crew, or if you have any ideas for the story, please let me know. The link to my website is in my sig and my e-mail address should be under my avatar.
Thanks! I'll bring updates as they come.

Wow, that was quick! I live in Southern California... And right now I am only in what I call the 'Secondary Brain-storming and Learning' phase. Since I have no experiance making movies I want to start small and work my way up. Right now I'm just filming whatever I fell like and editing it and setting it to music. That's it. I figure on writing a couple dramatizations of fairytales and fables and going from there. I'm also planning to base my FanFilm perhaps on a fable, because of the morals. Several of them have good storylines that I could adapt to be with Jedi instead of animals. Then again, I may get a sudden inspritation and toss the fable idea altogether and write something completely original. As for locations, I haven't started scouting yet. But there is a dry lake bed only about ten miles down the road that would work very well for an 'otherworldly' location. Maybe I shouldn't have posted this announcement so soon, but I just wanted to give everybody a heads-up so recruiting would be a little easier. Thank you very much for the offer, Jaryk! It is much appreciated!
