Mace. All his judgements seem to be correct. I was going to say Obi-Wan, but he didn't listen to Yoda and not train Anakin. Then, he refused to kill Anakin when he really should have. Mace would have just chopped him half!

I think obi is. Mace should have just arrested the chanceler when he had the chance and i dont think anakin would have turned (right then) . And i feel obi had such a horrible jedi life , he sees his master die. his only padwan turns, and then kills him. Yet his faith to the order was never fading. I have always seen obi-wan as the definition of the word JEDI!....but thats just me. :

I voted Obiwan, but that's cause Yoda wasn't there.

Obi-Wan. He sticks to what it means to be a Jedi. He never touches the dark side. Mace attacked Palpatine. Even though he had good intentions with destroying the Sith, he was walking the line. The Force is used for knowledge and defense, never for attack.

I think Anikan and Obi are tied for the best, but Obi's my favoirte Jedi. My friend's favorite Jedi is Plo Kloon. My other friend's favorite Jedi is Darth Maul.
It's just a matter of opinion.

Darth Maul was a Sith (was he considered a Mandorlorian too?)......the Mandalorians weren't considered Jedi either... but he is cool anyway....

Out of everyone there I'd have to say Plo Koon, He's my favorite Jedi and Darth Maul is my favorite sith. I'm trying right now to make some sort of breather like Plo Koons.
[glow=orange,500,300] VOTE PLO KOON[/glow]

[glow=blue,3,000]My question exactly. I think the best Jedi is a tie between Qui-Gon and Yoda. But then, they've always been my favorites. [/glow]

Oooh - debate... Out of the Jedi listed, I'd personally have to go with Obi Wan, because as someone mentioned above, even after it all hit the fan, he still stuck to his guns. Even as he knew that Anakin was about to make a jump for him, he's still trying to talk him out of it, to keep from the fighting ("The Negotiator") by saying "It's over Anakin...I have the high ground"... Avoid confrontation if need be - try to take care of the ones you love. If it's not possible, then do as Master Yoda said - do not mourn them, let them go... as Obi Wan did let Anakin go (which was painful to watch - I've seen it 4 times now, and I tear up each time Obi Wan just turns & walks away as Anakin is lying there burning). Mace, going by the novelization, uses his fighting style of Vapaad which takes him perilously close to the Dark Side (and if I'm not mistaken, doesn't it actually let the Dark Side flow through him?), Aayla Secura & Plo Kloon I don't know too much about, and as for Anakin - well, we see how THAT ended up, don't we?

Hands down Obi Wan. As mentioned before e deals with so much and never strays from the light. And if one does base it on his Action(though it shouldnt be) He defeats Darth Maul, General Grievous, And Anakin, and later submits to Vader to inspire Luke to Destroy the Death Star. So in my book it has to be Obi-Wan.
