I absolutely lovethe Fan failm on teh most part. There are a few that I don't like because of the unnecesary swearing or alcohol/drug references. But Overall I love them. My favs (in no particular order):
Pink Five (and Pink Five Strikes Back)
The Jedi Hunter
Art of the Saber
any of the spoofs at starwarsspoofs.com
Star Wars Gangsta Rap (the original)
and so many more
"Revelations" I was kind of disappointed with after all its hype. Yea the effects are AWESOME for a non-professional (meaning big time studio) production, but I thouht the story line was weak and the dialogue dragged. They could have cut half of it and it would have been better IMHO

Yes, Ani. DSL is better and Cable (T1) is best. I'm only able to see the Atom Films.com movies because I have DSL.

Yes. My quality of life would be the worse for dial up!
My fav fan film is the Pink 5 series.

Pink five is my favorite also...lol I can't wait to see the thrid installment, and if I had the money, I'd back them myself so it could be finished....That is why they weren't in the Lucas runoff......

Revelations was a letdown for me as well...too much hype, and if people think that Mark Hammil or Hayden Christensen can't act, they should watch this thing...
Effects though, are just completely awesome (but of course, after 3 years, they should be).
I'd have to say my fav is "Troops" because it was one of the first fan films I saw (plus, I watch COPS on a daily basis - yes, I know, that's bad).
I'm in the process of learning how to do all the digital effects so that I can (hopefully) make my own fan film (and again, hopefully, use some of the fine folks from TJA!).

Star Wars gangsta rap is hilariouose and my favorite. Pink 5 and Pink 5 strikes back are very clever aswell.
