Yeah I heard that too. I'm thinking "Is He NUTS? NOONE wants to wear long pants in the water, it'll weight them down."
The boxer breif styled, trunks make better sense. I think any of us who has jumped or thrown into the pool fully clothed KNOWS that clothing is HEAVY. Espically with all those tunics.

I certainly wouldn't go swimming like Obi Wan and Qui Gon did: full Jedi robes with boots.
I imagine that if it were actual swimwear, clothing designed specifically for that purpose, Jedi might wear something akin to a wetsuit (short or longlegged depending on conditions)...
I doubt we'll ever see a swimsuit issue of Star Wars Insider, though...

Heheehee. I don't think we'll see a swim suit issue either Kai Rhann. :-) Too bad huh? I can almost hear a dozen ladies hearts sink. ;D Just kidding.
I think they'd be practical with a wetsuit type of affair too. They have to have some sort of travel pack with changes of garments and such. Can't always use the "Dry Clean' Force skill. ;-)

water tempature is dipping into the high 60's definatly wetsuit time. the jedi should have somthing in that regard considering the deeper you go the colder it gets.

Hmm... I wear a wetsuit alot... just because I do alot of boarding in the summer and the Jersey shore is not exactly what I presonally would call 'warm'. Jedi swimsuit issue... are you listening George? or am I on the wrong website for that?

I only need to wear one half the year, the water actually gets into the high 80s low 90s in late summer (August - early October). but if you go down past ~10-15 feet the tempature of the water drops 10-15 degrees. plus you want something to protect you from Jellyfish adn other denezens of the deep

Having once walked into a Man O War fish I'll tell you that's the very truth! But personally I wouldn't mind a Jedi Swimsuit Issue, and I know a few fans of W.O.W. who'd liike one too! ;D

yeah, just think about it. Something tight and clingy to the moist.....uh............. I always thought that their robes were impervious to being wet or dirty....when they walked through the barrier underwater their hair was wet, but their tunics and robes looked dry...... I never thought they wore anything under their robes....I don't.....opps...I shouda not said that ....lol

[glow=blue,2,300]Ummm..maybe, just maybe the Jedi do not have specified swimwear. Maybe if it is for recreation, and with same sex company, they just go skinny dipping. Modesty would seem to be a guideline around public or mixed/opposite sex company. Maybe I'm wrong. Who knows.[/glow]
