Ive had this on my mind for a long time, ever since episode one as a matter of fact. I read the thick version of the phantom menace book the one with darth mauls face on the cover. In it, it describes how anakin gets lost in the dune sea and finds an injured tusken raider and in a way gains a mutual relationship with it. So brings the question if you could understand a tusken raider does anyone think it could be trained as a jedi? Just curious.  |

Yep, A'Sharad Hett is a Tusken Raider Jedi, he was at Geonosis... weilds dual sabers as well I think... bit of a strange combination, Tusken and Jedi... but oh well!  |

Sharad Hett, a Jedi Knight trained by Eeth Koth. He went missing and Ki-Adi-Mundi was sent to locate him(see the Dark Horse comics Outlander). He found Sharad on Tatooine and after a battle with Aura Sing Sharad was killed and Ki-Adi-Mundi was asked to train his son A'sharad Hett. After a time we was trained by the Dark Woman. He was then Knighted and spent time fighting the Clone Wars. He for a time was forced into working with Anakin Skywalker. Who through a vision revealed to sharad about his slaughter of Tuskens.

Well that was a surprise! so does anyone know what a tusken raider looks like under the wraps(i don't read alot of the comices so I don't know if it mentions it.)?

 He's Human. Tuskens don't look totally human but both his parents were Human they simply were adopted into the Tusken clan |

So basically there is no "real" , grunting, barking, tusken raider jedi. Im guessing no one knows what a real one looks like.

I know Tahiri Veila from the NJO was raised as a Tusken before being found and trained

I waer a Tuskan costume that my husand and I made myself from scratch, but my opinion is the shape of the mask shows what their facial features are like. Not human, just humanoid.
