I think it's called Star Wars Racer Arcade. It's really fun, but I get the feeling I'm the only one in the world that really likes it. Especially 'cause I watch people play (at Disneyland, since that's the only place I've ever seen it) and they're all really bad at it. Of course, the steering does take a little getting used to. You have to steer like they did in the movie, with the throttle sticks. Sound familiar anyone?

::sighs:: Oh well. I guess that means I'm one of the only two humans able to podrace. The other being Ani, of course. If only I could get some of you to come to Disneyland....
Oh, and that reminds me - anyone ever been to Disneyland at all? (If not, you lead a deprived life. ) They have a ride called Star Tours, that's supposed to go to the Endor moon... I've gone on it so much I have it memorized. ;D

Eqin, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I love to Pod Race, we have it in the B'way City Arcade. How good are you? Have you done more than 4 circuits yet? I'm really better at Classic Trilogy Arcade, I usually manage to wipe out at least 92% of the tie fighters in rd 1 and about 85% of the endor baddies, I had a really bad time in the Hoth scenario at first, but last few times I played I seemed to be getting a handle on it. Other than those I have never played arcade games at all. Star Tours is an awesome ride! I went to D"world in Fl. a couple of years ago for a friend wedding, I rode Star Tours about 30 times in 1 day. I just loved it, they kept laughing at me 'cos I kept getting back on the line, but it wasn't to busy that day, so the lines weren't to bad.

YES!!!! Someone plays it! ::jumps around the room whooping like an idiot:: I can finish the begginer course (Bantha Tracks) every time, and once I got third place! You know what happens when you get third or higher? You get to put your initials in and you get a password so you can put your name and time on the website. I'm not putting it in yet though. You only get to put in one time per course per name, so I wanna wait till I get a better time. I've done the normal (Etti IV) a few times, and I finished it once. And I did the hard (Malastare) and expert (Boonta Classic) once each, and it's FUN! (The Boonta Classic, I mean.) Whew! I'm all out of breath now. And for everyone who wants to know about the game go to www.sega.co.jp/racer/. There's a description of the game in Game Summary.
Oh yeah, I don't play the Trilogy arcade, but that's mostly because of the line. (Everyone plays that one.) Although I have played Star Wars "All Wings Stay on Target" with my best friend. He was the pilot, and I was the gunner. But probably no one has ever heard of that one... I can't even find it on the internet!
DisneyWORLD has Star Tours?! Cool! At least if I ever go there I'll still get my favorite ride.

The link? Well, their website describes the arcade game, and shows pics of it... and it has alot of peoples names and racing times. If you get 3rd place or higher when you play in the arcades, the game lets you put in your initials, and it gives you a password. (number, actually) Then you sit there and copy it down so that you can put your name and race time on the website and see how you are compared to people around the world. I think I would be in the top 500 on the beginners course, but I lost my pass, so I can't post it.

Woooooooo!! I finished the beginner's course in 3'07''215! (Jonathan's best time is 3'08''somthing.) It was so cool, I played Anakin and almost beat Sebulba! Wohoo!
PS Sorry, just had to brag. I finally got my name on the scoreboard. 8)

3 outta 4, that's pretty good! And yeah, I play the linked version. My best friend (Jonathan) and I race all the time. When I win it's 'cause I have better steering (and reflexes), when he wins it's 'cause he has better strategy.
Do you play the one with the air brake? Ours doesn't have that, so it's harder to brake if someone cuts you off. Then again... that's how I beat Jonathan sometimes.
