I like just blue. It's Obi-Wan's color. 
I always thought that Mace got a purple saber because Samuel L. Jackson, wanting his character to stand out in the crowd, asked for one and got it.
I'm wondering about all those other light saber colors. You see blue, green and one purple saber in the movies. Is there any 'official' reason why? Or why you don't see any white or yellow sabers. Would orange or pink sabers be considered "sithy"? Is Mace a little on the edge because of the purple saber?

Purple is actually a sign of Vaapad, the lightsaber fighting tecnique that incorperates the Darkside  of the force into it... so in other words, Yes it is because Mace is on the edge!! ;D |

For fun stuff, only the GREATEST color...ORANGE!
Although I do look cool with purple, blue, and yellow, too.

My very first lightsaber, which was made for a college film project, was made just before TPM hit the screens, and that had a purple blade long before Master Windu's was seen  Since then, my sabers have always had green blades, except for my Sith Costume, which naturally has to have a red blade. As with Count Dooku's saber though, the red bladed saber is the result of the crystal being replaced with an artificial one when the character devoted himself to the Dark Side |
