I like blue. The blue Hasbro blades have such a nice color too them. My son has green so I picked blue to be different than him. I'd really like something different though, like maybe deep pink (altho I really don't like pastels).

I myself would have a purple blade, as i've read through this thread, I've noticed alot of talk about the color of certain charactors' blades. Some have said that the color red is the color of the sith, however there have been true jedi of the light with red sabers, Luke made Leia a red bladed lightsaber that she had up till recently in the NJO books. and Adi Galli's is red, and I believe the Sith blades are described as an angry red, because they use synthetic darkside infused crystals. Also Coran Horn has a silver blade, which would be interessting to see, as for a grey blade, who knows what a black diamond or a smoke quartz crystal would produce, just imagine if a black diamond produced a black blade with purple corrona. ;D

I love the idea of many different blade colors, although in one of the documentaries in the EP2 DVD, GL states quite clearly to Sam Jackson that Sith have red sabers and Jedi have blue or green. He said something like, "That's just the way it is." But then again, when Sam said something to the effect of, "So a purple blade is out of the question?", George said maybe, and we all know how that turned out.
I personally would never want to have to say no to Sam Jackson, heh. ;D

well my origonal saber was green, but that one was destroyed in a skirmish involving battle droids and clones. but i built another and this ones blue, i like it better, the ice blue relaxes me.

i agree about the red blades. the color of your lightsaber doesnt always bepend on your status. remember the blade color comes from the crystal inside, and thats just like choosing your favorite crayon from the box. and the thing with george lucas... god knows i love the guy, but hes pretty stingy when it comes to lightsabers. origonally he didnt want to give windu a purple blade but he dacided to when jackson asked him. though his first andswer was no, he lightened up later.

Does anyone out there know why Adi Galia's lightsaber is red?
I thought when I bought the action figure of her that it was packaged wrong when I saw that she came with a red saber....but then in all the drawings I have seen of her...she does indeed have a red bladed saber.

Sorry, guys...OFF TOPIC...for just a minute...Niron...is that your own picture in your avatar? I can't really tell, but it looks similar to one of the Jedi in the battle arena in ATOC. Clairfy? I can't seem to remember that Jedi's name.....Does anyone know the Jedi I am talking about? Agin, sorry about the off topic...
