I personally liked the movie more than the books....but I don't feel like sparking a big debate about LotR.

LOTR bad? Not as good as the books, definitely, but you really can't expect them to squeeze it all into 3 hours. I love that movie ALMOST (note, I said almost ) as much as I love SW. But like Ryss, I really don't want to start a LOTR debate ;D.

Oh, and back on topic ;D, I used my Hebrew name for the first part of my Jedi name (Shoshana) and my husband Solorad came up with the second part. I believe it uses part of my mother's maiden name, but I don't remember where the other part came from.
As for his Jedi name (Solorad Jo), he just started mixing his name and family names until he got something he liked. Didn't hurt that Solo, his favorite character, just happened to be part of it.

[glow=navy,2,300]I'm not about to start knocking LotR just cause I'll have legions against me on that, and I'm not against it anyway. When the special edition box set comes out with 2 additional hours of additional footage (or so) along with the other endless amount of features, the fans will be much happier.
But this is Star Wars. [/glow]

Well, I rarely buy cereal, wouldn't have bothered to for an LOTR premium, because when it came out, it was just at the end of the crazy season in the costume business, HALLOWEEN to Christmas, so I wouldn't have had time to get to a grocery store. I loved the film, can't wait for 2 & 3. Don't know who makes what, only eat anybrand of corn flakes, Cheerios, oatmeal or Wheetabix as a rule, and mostly when I'm in the UK. PS what I said about GANDALF is not to do with Grammar, it had to do with his names.

Well, and as you might have guessed I've read the books, many, many times and will do so again, no doubt. I'd rather reread a great book than read a really bad book.

[glow=yellow,1,500]All this talk abotu LOTR got me off track lol.. i never answered where I got my name from lol... well as most people know Lutma and I are twin jedi's. [though we are NOT twins in real life] I go by Czuco Duroc usually and She goes by Lutma Haroc. But to keep the twin thing going we acctually have the last name Bohre that just doesnt get used here on the boards lol. Lutma and I both followed that e-mail that was going around a while back about using your name, yer moms maiden name and the city you were born in. Thats how we got the first 2 parts of our name. But to gert Bohre we used some things from the movie Moulin Rouge lol.... Bohre comes from the term Bohemian revolution lol. Don't ask why but it just poped out and stuck... so if anyone ask.. thats where it all came from. lol.... [/glow]

Like some of you, I used that thing where you take your name, your mom's maiden name, and your city and combine them together. I actually don't really like my name, but have yet to come up with anything cool.

[glow=navy,2,300]Here's a tip in picking out your Jedi name. I may be the Elder now, but I too, was once a Jedi Knight like yourself. Put together syllables you never thought you'd use before. Use apostraphes. Then, imagine the last name with the Master/Jedi address infront of it. Like, Yoda calls Obi-Wan "Master Kenobi". Play around with your favorite things in history or of any other interest. Cut some things, add some things, and you'll get it. And [/glow]
