Isn't that the show they fly around in British call box? That would be it. Except it's a Police Box (which they don't have in England anymore) It's been on BBC for more than 30 years. It's being broadcast here (again) but we're a year behind, I think. The most recent past (at least to us) Doctor is now playing a character on Heroes (the invisible man). Pi-Ral: great name and excellent logic for choosing it!

Does anyone here use a name of an actual character? I am still working on my costume, but I had planned on using the name Roan Shryne, the jedi master in Dark Lord: The rise of Darth Vader who sacrificed himself for the order (ish). I really like the character, but I haven't seen anyone using a real character's name. My Jedi in Star Wars Galaxies is named Saiven Lightayen, and I like the ring of "Master Lightayen." Should I just use that one?

lol....at Film Con there were a few people who looked at my badge with my Jedi name on it and were stumped...but I told them.... impossible to pronounce....but hard to forget... ok as soon as I learned to prounance it, I really like it and it fits you very well. I did have to write it as "Schish Pa" to learn to see it in my mind.. My daughter asked me why didn't I nickname myself ( E )"Meri" (ta) instead of Em....but I told her it was like Auntie Em seeing that I feel like the elder Jedi with you.... ......

I might have mentioned before that I work at a place where I see hundreds of names go by per day... One of my coworkers ran across someone named "Chewbaca Yoda" [sic] as their first and middle name. They were born in the mid-eighties, so that's about the right time period... but i wonder if his parents saddled him with that name or if he changed it himeself?

To be honest, I can't remember exactly how my name was created. Shada -- came from a Star Wars nickname that was given to me back in highschool when I hung out with the Star Wars nerds. hehe Everyone in their clan had a character nickname, and all of the good girl names were taken. One of my best friends mentioned this cool character in the Timothy Zahn books named Shada D'ukal. So that was the name I was given. Ersari -- I had created a cover art image for my fanfic that was going to be posted on TF.N, and I wanted to sign my name to it. But I didn't have a proper "last" name. So I started putting things together. This name ended up being a combination of my first name...and something else. I can't remember what the something else was. LOL Those online name generators never worked very well for me.

Cara Drume.
I never really liked my real name -Carrie- because I kept running into people with the same spelling, pronunciation, everything! So I just changed it to Cara. I like Cara better because it's short, easy to remember and spell, and I think it fits me.
Drume was an attempt to fix my foiled Name Generator name. In some it was Dewhi, in others it was Druca. I liked Druca better but I thought there were already too many A's in my name. I've got a bit of French heritage, so I made it French-sounding; Drume'.
Viola!
