I've purchased a Luke-New Hope brown belt and Qui-Gon Jinn-Phantom Menace boots from this guy. The pros...he seems like a real fan, not just a guy trying to make a buck who just so happens to carry lots of Star Wars stuff (I've seen that once too often>:-() The cons...he doesn't accept money orders, which, when you think about it, is the real reason most ppl deal w/ eBay in the first place, am I right?! Sithspawn! He's a fan of PayPal, but I tried explaining to him that I had had a previous experience w/PayPal, and it had ended B-A-D-L-Y!!! So, he was accomodating in that he suggested, first, that I deposit the money in his account @ Bank of America (there are no BoA's here in Fort Smith, so I was out of luck), and, second, that I send the cash by mail. Now, while there have been advancements in the US Postal Service over the years, I'm pretty sure they're still dependent upon X-ray machines to keep us relatively safe from Anthrax and other Hair Bands from the '80s, so, while I did consider his suggestion for all of 3.1 microns - which is an eternity for an android - I didn't go thru w/ it, b/c, let's face it, not everyone is completely trustworthy, as much as we'd like to believe otherwise. GRRR!!!
...sorry...needed to vent....
So, his major undoing is the unwillingness to deal w/ Money Orders, but, aside from that, he's pretty reasonable. I can't wait for my items to arrive! Soon, I WILL be a Jedi, unlike my father before me....
...may the Force be with you all!

He's a good seller, & he probably doesn't accept money orders since he's in Singapore. Who knows how long it would take to arrive and it costs to convert into the local currency. Simon ships right away, but you can't count on it being delivered on time. My son bought a Battlestar uniform shirt from him and it took a month to get here, it got hung up in Germany for some reason. But the item was perfect. BTW, people don't deal on ebay because they want to use money orders. I've sold a couple of thousand items on ebay in the last 7 years and 95+% of those were paypal transactions. It's just easier for buyers and sellers both. I used to travel a lot on business and had to use BofA, I could ahve sworn they were in your area... but my memory's not as good as it used to be... Perhaps your local bank could get a check in Singapore dollars (or whatever they use) and he'd accept that... it wouldn't hurt to ask! May the Force be with us all....

Selling Tips: Be sure you call them "Jedi Boots" and get good pictures! Take Paypal and don't overcharge on shipping. A good description helps, too.
Sometimes what you think will sell doesn't, and vice versa. It's a mystery!

Thank you, Granny-wan, o wise matriarch I know PayPal is probably a lot easier for the seller, but my experience w/ it was b-a-d. On the plus side, thanx for giving me a good idea of when to expect my items from him; I 'd expect, w/ him being in Singapore and so far away, not only is currency exchange difficult and/or pricey, but I bet shipping out stuff here to the States and elsewhere in the world can be problematic for him. Whatever I do, I don't want to discourage ppl from buying from him b/c, honestly, my eBay experience w/ him was very positive, and I plan to declare so in positive feedback once my items arrive...which might be a while.... Anyway, later days! Oh, and for all you youngster txt msg types, translate this one.... ...m8 4s b w/ u....

I received my boots today from smokesthingy!
They're screen-accurate, Qui-Gon-style boots, and they're even better than I expected! SUPER-COOL!!! He did a really good job of describing them on the Pan-in-the-Box eBay page, and when I picked them up today, I was excited but skeptical until I actually put them on.
WOW!!!

I have bought a belt set and robe from him and highly recommend him to others......he is very good. I noticed in the pictures on his site that the robes looked flimsey. Are they heavy? I had an outterobes robe and it was made of flannel and didn't wash well. and it was also to big and hung badly on me. I am not to excited to get another flannel robe, so if this guys is better I'll have to check him out..... would be easier than trying to hunt down fabric.....

OK, It looked good. The worry I have is the cloak falling off my shoulders as my first one did. I couldn't move in it and it looked terrible.... Does yours have shoulders? What size is it. I noticed that it came as a "free" size. Is that a one size fits all? Or does it come in sizes and you have to hem the sleeves and bottom your self?

I have purchased a tunic set from him, but have yet to recieve it. I live in the US, and I of course have no idea of just how long to expect the item to take to arrive as there were no indications of that other than the fact he ships it out the next workday. I ordered it on 9/26 and I assume it should be about 14 days, so it should be here any day now I hope. but without any tracking I really dont know. Im just hoping it will arrive in time for halloween of course. Will let you all know.
