Well I must be the only one from Switzerland. I kind of presented myself in the introduction area. My real name is James Cork, will be 19 in July and well would like to hear about you other European guys. I do go to England each so often ... and Europe is not that big? We could arrange a trip together to go to Celebration III...?

So far Corja, I think you are the only one, do you know any other Jedi costumers that would be interested?

Well in what we call the Swiss Fan Club, I am probably the only one that is a Jedi. One member has a costume, but I think that he will turn to the dark side... He played Anakin Skywalker when EII came out. Anyway, I dont think that he will be interested, he is more involved in Jurassic Park stuff. I'm sure that in England there is hope, it is where I heared about you.

Well Im currently in the UK but Im off to work in Brisbane Australia pretty shortly. So still in the International Order If I have the cash and am lucky enough to get a ticket I will be attending C3 too. If Im still working in Oz when it happens I'll have to make myself another complete outfit as Im leaving both of my current ones and all of my lightsabres in the UK in storage.

Hello, This is my first post on this group. Im from New Zealand. I only just started my first StarWars costume yesterday. Im working on a Jedi outer robe (from a simplicity pattern) Then I will begin the tunic. Im going for gark grays and browns for no other reason exept the fabric was really cheap (about $2 U.S per metre) After the costuming is done I want to make my LightSaber. I intend on using around 10 High intensity Blue LEDs to light a frosted perspex blade. I have an old Darth Vader electric toy Lightsaber which I have pulled the guts out of to make the SFX. It should be groovy if it works

Thank you all for the warm welcome. May the force be with you. I was just reading the Jedi Assembly costume rules and Im not sure If im actually allowed to join. Im making a dark brown robe with a dark grey tunic and light grey inner tunic. I hope thats ok. Also, how do I go about losing the "Initiate" tag?
Theos Or-num
(thats my jedi name, but the web site wouldnt let me have it so I had to put nzjedi, but you can all call me what you will, it matters not to me.)

Hello, and welcome! Your costume sounds fine so far. Best thing to do is make it and send Tanthos a picture. As for your name, the boards won't let you register with a dash or spaces in it, but you can go into your profile now and change it to your Jedi name. As for the Initiate tag, it's gone, because you're not a full member unless you have a costume and are over 18. Sooooo.... once you do have a costume, I can change your status again, and according to post counts, your tag will change accordingly. K?

Greetings Theos, Welcome to the Assembly, costume sounds ok to me too. As Xana said, when done, send a pic to Tanthos. Do you sew? If you need info, or have questions, check and post in the costume threads for help. I've always wanted to go to NZ, it looks gorgeous on film. Nova

I'm from Alberta Canada so I guess I'm an Outer Rim member too. Lol I think I'm the only one from Canada here so does that mean I'm Order leader for my country lol?

Well you could recruit a few more and then you wouldn't be the only one. I'm not sure which side of Canada Alberta is on is it west or east? I've been to Toronto a couple of times but no where else in Canada yet. I always get the E. & W. Provinces confused.
