Just curious to what happen to Qui-gon's lightsaber,because Obi would've have to use it untill he made a new one of his own,thoughts any one?

Didn't one of the "Last of the Jedi" book series have something in it about a lightsaber storgage room in the temple? Maybe it was put there.

Well thats is a good question. I honestly think Obi-wan kept it to remind him of his former master or it could of been placed in honor with other former great jedi. However, sadly when the Order of 66 all great items including jedi records may have been destroy. Parts of me though hope that Anakin/Darth Vader kept it and it is what kept some of his humanity till Luke brought Anakin back to the lightside of the force. But who knows really

i'd be pretty sure that ObiWan didnt take it with him all the way to Tatooine...it would have been found there after he died,etc. I'd agree with Orion that it was probably placed in some vault in the Temple but was likely destroyed in the purge.

I just found out in the book Rogue Leader he used qui gons saber till he made a new one.

yeah...but rogue leader is a Fringe EU book isnt it? I thought it was one of those kids novellas...which is considered 3rd tier canon, at least...therefore not a very strong reference.
I think Shadows of the Empire has info about luke building his lightsaber. I havent read taht in almost ten years though. I dont remember where it said he got that crystal.

If I remembr right, Luke made the crystal. I remember a scene where he is leaning over a stove of soem sort in Obi's old hovel.

I do believe if you look at the younglings in AOTC, you'll see one of the kids has a saber that looks reeeeeally close to it.
