Answer............... Right now we don't feel we need added moderators in the Orders. We do have a process, it's just not written down anywhere. We're working on that, but we've been backed up in more important projects/issues. The process is that when we see we need the help, or a position opens up, we see who may be a good person for the job. We don't mind anyone asking to be mod, of course, but just so everyone realizes that we may not always need the help. Sometimes too many cooks in the kitchen spoils the soup. We've ran into the problem of too many good people to choose from sometimes, believe me! We've also decided to update the code and do a review twice a year. That way we're not updating willy nilly all the time when something comes up. Although there may be time when we do add something very imprtant that can't wait. Anyone can start events and run them. The events requirements and so forth are listed on the boards and the site. www.thejediassembly.com/events.php?regulations We encourage people to start events/activities!!!

Question for the council: is there any plan for having council "liaison officers" or anything in the same sense - one council members in each orders? (well, in the case of the outter rim, maybe more per region of the world) the idea would be to try to raise membership per orders, particularly outside of the states, where the TJA isn't well publicised even in large CONs. Memership Liasons: We don't feel we need them right now, because we don't do a whole lot of interacting with other groups. When running events, any memeber can do that and ask whoever in other groups to participate. No special title or authority needed. I think you're talking about recruitment, right? (Please correct me if I am wrong.) For recruitment, anyone can do that by passing out Biz cards or flyers. Or pieces of sc.rap paper with the site address on it........ I think that answers all the questions. I think the initial question Aston asked was more on how people go about gaining positions of authority and such rather than ranks. The ranking system is just for changing people's status from Messsage Board member to full memeber/Jedi. That's what this thread is for. To give me a kick if I don't catch new memebers right away. ;D

(...) I think you're talking about recruitment, right? (Please correct me if I am wrong.) For recruitment, anyone can do that by passing out Biz cards or flyers. Or pieces of sc.rap paper with the site address on it........ (...) Yes, I'm trying to help recruitement of TJA in Canada - mainly in Quebec. People don't know much about TJA, and know more about the RL and 501st, even if there is a good potential for Jedi members out here. I think that the added canadian section of the outter rims order is a good way to help with that, but we'd need more visibility... but back to topic, this thread is about asking for member's title get change... Any new Jedi without proper Jedi title out here?
