I understand, Nova. The funniest thing I saw at CII was a guy in Thermol underware, a white bathrobe, and a brown Bathrobe over that with black rubber boots and a flashlight hanging from his belt ... I took a picture of him (sadly it did not turn out). He said that he could not believe that so many people would put so much work it to a costume for 1 day.
He was the ultimate Bathrobe Jedi. Did anyone else get a picture or see him?

My answer to him is "Why Bother at All?!" Just go buy the Rubies it at least won't embarrass the rest of us who care.
Schph, that pattern also goes by the #P432, try looking for that one as well as the other.
I'll add a list of good patterns for modification to the tutorials I'm doing. I'll make sure to write down the numbers this weekend when we goto fabric shop.

No...I don't remember seeing the Ultimate bathrobe Jedi....and I think I would have remembered that one....lol...
well....I guess his heart was in the right place anyway.... ;D

I suupose if you wanted to make a bathrobe Jedi on purpose, you could make the pants, tunic and tabbards out of terry cloth and the robe out of flannel. But I have waaaaay to many other projects to do before ever contemplating anything that scary.
