It's so cool that little kids believe everything...just like you said Steverus...no engine in Thomas...but my nephew thought he was really pushing the train!!! So Thomas was a real engine when you saw him Jaren? They must have now taken his engine out and now he's just a shell You can see the real engine behind him in this pics of my nephews and my sister. Did your kids like Blues Clues Cor? I'd take my nephew to see them if they came here! I changed the name of this thread...since we like to chat about crazy things we've been up to ;D!!!

I've been rather busy since Comic Con. We fired a senior manager and I'm the only one left running our company. I'm basically in charge of five cell phone stores maintaining everyday business, paperwork, supporting sales people, ordering, etc, etc.
It's been a mad, mad, mad, mad couple of weeks.
Been readling a lot of military history in the meantime.

Moving... Well, more recently going to the park and just relaxing...plus helping ym dad in his painting job (he's painting the house we're house-sitting) VERY nice having DSL. Other than that...not much. Quick, somone give me a good swift kick to get me going on my costume. Well, I would...if the sewing machine wasn't packed!

Thay have a Thomas in a place in the UK that I've been and it's very cool, he takes them out for rides on Holidays and is a very real engine. I love trains. My nephews were very into it at that age, so I brought them back lots of stuff at the time. It's a very popular costume every year at the store too.

I did a couple cons--not in costume, because I was an author guest. The first one had the Rebel Legion and Tidewater Alliance there, in costume and they had a Cantina-themed eating place. The one this past weekend was Horrorfind Weekend in Maryland. I blogged about it. both on regualr blog at pamelakkinney.blogpspot.com and my MySpace at www.myspace.com/pamelakkinney . I'll have up photos from it at my website today at FantasticDreams.50megs.com at the Horrorfind Weekend page. Otherwise, looking for a part time job to help with bills and to save to go to cons in 2007 (esp. Dragoncon), writing and getting stories accepted, including an erotic paranormal for a journal that'll be for sale at Dragoncon 2007, writing a nonfiction Ghosts of Richmond book so I can send all off to publisher by October 1st, and just relaxing otherwise this summer. No costuming, though need to get hubby his pirate costume together as we started a Virginia ship, DMB DragonStorm, and are part of Buccaneers of the Atlantic Coast (our website link: dmvdragonstorm.bravehost.com/ ). Guess it'll be this Fall.

Your boys are adorable Mon-Jas! I think they are right on the engines....now there are a whole bunch more with names like Sarkaly, Peter-Sam, Diesel 10, Toby...every year they 'add' new engines to the line. Hmmmmm...perhaps they do it so kids need to have the new engines and buy them!?!
