I don't know how many of you listen to rock, but I'm a big fan of the group 'The White Stripes'...Jack White is their lead singer & group founder. Well, Jack White has a 'side project' group called the Rancontours...and I won passes to their concert last night! They were 'meet & greet' passes...so I got to meet the band! I got autographs and pictures!!! It was really cool...I've not been to a concert in ages. Here is the pic of me and Jack White, the guy (with the glasses) is another member of the group. It was a great night...until I got home at 10:30pm to a house with no electricity . They didn't get my power restored until 12:10am...and then I could finally set my alarm and go to bed. I start work at 6:30am...so I'm a bit tired today! Jenny

That's cool about the concert, and taking pics with the band members. Glad you had fun! Not so cool about your power being out and you being tired today. Like for me yesterday, I was so wiped out from work that when I got home, I decided to take a nap for a few minutes. I ended up sleeping for like 4 hours. So I couldn't go back to sleep and ended up staying awake until 4 or 5 this morning, then I had to get up for work at 7. So I feel your pain, I Five. I'm a little sleepy right now as well.

Done that before...a 'cat nap' turns into sleeping for 3 hours...it really gets your sleep patterns messed up!

Concerts are always fun. I must try to catch up w/ Journey while Jeff Scott Soto is touring with them. They will be near just after DCon, if luck is with me I'll get a ticket to see them in Atlantic City.

Verry cool photo! Nice you got to meet them. I take 6 hour naps. If I don't have 6 hours to sleep, I don't bother to lie down. (I need like 10 hours a night, so 6 hours is a nap for me.)

I can't take actual naps during the day. The only time I can sleep during the day is if I've gotten less than five hours of sleep the previous night. I'm still young and don't have a job yet (argh!) so I can get away with it.

LOL. Karm was a huge "Blue's Clues" fan and yes we did the "live stage presentation" also. Also saw "VeggieTales Live!" and actually got down to front-row center after the ushers took pity on us in the nosebleed seats

It was quite fun and the Thomas was great looking. They had him hitched to the end of a real train and he "pushed" the train along. Of course he actually had no engine and was just pulled. But the kids didn't know that.

I was at a Thomas's Day Out quite a few times when I was little. Our Thomas had a real engine...and I got to pump a handcar!
