You could even have Vious use the Force to fling away the pillars, summon his lightsaber and then slay the krayt dragon, and arrive at the top of the cave just in time to see the ship leaving...

The Kryat Dragon let out another call. It's roar seemed to shake the cavern walls as smaller rocks fragments broke loose and fell off the walls. I sensed that are follower was being kept busy so I looked ahead and kept moving. there was a small breese beng swept onto my face. Almost there... Vious looked up from the pile of rocks with hate burning in his eyes. His lightsaber was flung ove near the kryat dragon it stopped yoweling and looked around the room. Vious could feel that he wasn't hurt too badly, but unless he moved quickly that would change. gathering his hate and lust for power Vious exploded outward. The rocks and boulders flew in all direction but it was controlled as he stood and directed them at the creature. It let out out a growl and tried to move towards its prey. Vious laughed evily as he slammed it acros the head.
"Die!!"
His laughter echoed around the cavern. The rocks slammed in the kryat sending it retreating back back farther in the cave. Blood was dripping from the rocks where they scliced into its flesh. The smell of blood brought Vious's eyes darker. The smell of death was an attraction, a lust that he never could satisfy. In one fluid motion Vious sprung foward and called his lightsaber to his hand. The deadly blade hummed as he twisted his stance and dropped the rocks trapping the creature by the legs. Dust flew up covering the scene as a painful cry came from withen. As the dust settled Vious was already gone. The kryat dragon was cut from the skull down to the shoulder not moving....
"I will not fail..." Vious whispered as he tasted the air. He felt the presence of the Jedi. It wouldnt be long now.
I heard the cry of death as I reached the opening. It's Death panged threw my head as i looked at Heth.
"Yes I feel it too." Heth replied as his head turned to the exit. I watched as he motioned his hands and began to block the exit with rock, called from the inside of the cave.
"That won't hold him long." I said in an absent voice. The breese picked up flapping my cloak back. the ends snapping in the wind. As if on cue the jedi turned theur heads to the blocked tunnel. A scraping sound could be barly heard. I swore I heard a lightsaber comming from down below.

Vious could sense the Jedi on the far side of the cave in, but there was something else, more elusive, which he could not place. Returning his lightsaber to its charging unit, Vious twisted slightly, causing pain to flare in his damaged ribs. The wound was not severe, and could be ignored, but the pain could be channelled, used as a focus for his rage at being caught in such a simple trap. Closing his eyes, Vious expanded his awarenessness, reaching out with the Force, and touching the rocks which blocked his path, keeping him from his quarry. Moments later, they began to move...
Kaelyn and Hett made their way up to the top of the canyons just in time to se a ship hovering over the cave. Kaelyn recognized Makirto’s ship and motioned it to land. The landing platform opened and Ryn walked down to greet them both. "I thought I told you I would meet you on Dantooine!" said Kaelyn. From inside the ship, Makirto and Ryn's padawan, Noriko, emerged. "Come, we have little time," Ryn shouted above the roar of the ship's drive, beconing Hett and Kaelin onwards. In the distance, they could see the cave wall exploding outwards, and even before the dust could clear, the scarlet blade of the Sith's lightsaber was apparent. "I can take him..." Makirto whispered to himself, as the cloaked figure sprinted towards them. Hett turned on the ramp, "He is too powerfull. Trust me, we must leave immediately." "I said I can take him!" Makirto snarled, fixing Hett with a steely glare. "Master Hett is correct," Ryn interjected. "Your last encounter did not go in your favor. You cannot afford another injury if you are to pilot the ship." Sullenly, chafing at the rebuke from the two Masters, Makirto turned and lead Kaelin into the ship. On the ramp, Ryn turned to Hett. "Come with us, you will surely die if you remain here." Hett nodded, "You are correct as usual, Jellryn, I have missed your counsel. Do you sense it?" Ryn's lekku twitched as she focussed her thoughts. "Yes, but I do not believe it. Can it really be him?" Hett nodded, "I was not sure before, but now I am certain, although I never imagined he would turn to the Dark Side, we must find out why." "I agree," Ryn replied, shrugging her cloak from her shoulders and stepping forwards off the ramp.
Vious could see the group heading into the ship and knew he had little time. Tapping into the power of the Dark Side, he propelled himself forwards at an incredible rate, covering the remaining ground in seconds. He recognized at once A'Sharad Hett and Jellryn as they moved away from the ship, their lightsabers drawn and ignited. With a final surge of power, he launched himself forwards, his lightsaber preceeding his headlong dive.
Ryn deflected the first thrust with her emerald-hued blade, pirouetting away with a grace and fluidity of motion of a woman half her age. "Why are you doing this?" She shouted, as behind her, the ship began to hover on it's repulsors, throwing up dust and small stones. "We should not be your enemy." "If you were part of the Jedi Rebellion, then you are my enemy," Vious replied, his crimson saber weaving a deadly pattern before him, which Jellryn was barely able to defend against, let alone think of mounting an attack of her own. "There was no Rebellion!" Hett shouted as he moved in behind, his copper-hued saber slicing towards Vious' shoulders. Dropping backwards, Vious pivoted on his shoulders and scissored his legs, tripping the Tusken Jedi, before springing back to his feet and facing Jellryn once more. "Tell me of the plans against Palpatine, and I will spare your lives," "I cannot do that," Ryn replied as Hett regained his feet. "We were the ones who were betrayed," Beneath his mask, Vious frowned as a memory stirred... The cold of the caves... The crackle of the commlink... "Execute Order 66..."... Something slammed hard into Vious' shoulders, sending him flying forwards and nearly over the edge of the canyon wall, where he lay still. Hett looked over his shoulder to see the ship coming down to rest once more on it's landing gear. "He cannot be reasoned with, Jellryn, we must leave before he regains the advantage." Ryn nodded, and with a weary sigh, extinguished her lightsaber, returning it to the folds of her elegant dress. "He once had such promise though, such a gifted use of the Force. To see him corrupted like this..." Hett put his hand on Ryn's shoulder, "I understand, I too once considered him a friend, but our friend is gone, consumed by the hatred of the Dark Side. Even together, I doubt we could best him in saber technique, we must leave now, or all will be lost."
Noriko turned as she sensed Ryn and the Tusken Jedi entering the c0ckpit. "Are you alright? We thought he would kill you both for sure." "He would have, had I not used the ship's repulsors to incapacitate him," Makirto said over his shoulder, his hand flying over the controlls to increase the ship's altitude. "That was excellent thinking," Hett acknowledged, clapping the young Zabrak on the shoulder. "There other ways to defeat an enemy than with a lightsaber." "I'm beginning to realize that," Makirto replied, bringing the ship around and heading for orbit.
Vious opened his eyes, the impact had momentarily rendered him unconscious. Rolling onto his back, he saw the old Corellian ship pulling away from the canyons. Pulling a tracer from his belt, he flung it upwards, propelling it with the Force untill it impacted on the hull. From his belt, Vious pulled his commlink and entered a code. He knew now that his Intercepter, the Scimitar would locate his position and come to him. Returning the commlink to his belt, Vious finally allowed himself the luxury of assessing his injuries. One rib was broken, three more definitely cracked, and the impact of the dragon's tail had driven his mask hard against his cheek. The mask was carved from a stone harder than duracrete, and the result had been a shattered tooth. Removing the smooth mask, Vious spat out the tooth, it could be replaced easily with a prosthetic, and a meditative trance would heal his other wounds. Taking the mask in his hands, he gazed upon it, and reflecting upon how it had become the face he presented to the world, slipped it back on. He had accessed Palpatine's Sith Holocrons and discovered the ability to focus the Dark Side into a healing trance. His rage had been complete, pure in it's focus. That clarity of focus had allowed him to use the Force to entirely heal himself, restoring his appearance as the Natives of Androzani had been unable to do, reshaping his burned body just as he had used the fusion drive from his starfighter to re-forge the crystal of his lightsaber. But still he continued to wear the mask, because that was who he was now. The Dark Side had restored his life, the Dark Side had healed his wounds, and that was where his loyalty lay. He truly was Darth Vious, a dark lord of the Sith.

**Continuity alert** Advice: Please be sure to re-read all story additions posted after your last turn before proceeding. This will allow the story to not only be fresher in your mind for your turn, but also help you recall details so you don't cover ground already laid out. Tailon had Makirto land at the end of his part and Tanzan had him do it again in his. I missed that on my first read due to the action going on (a good thing). Though each part was done well and fits within that part we should try to make our parts fit together. Not a big deal, really, I just think the results will be better if we all keep continuity in mind. Plus there is the added challenge of needing to adapt what you were planing to do to what others have done since your last turn. This is part of the fun of the exercise IMHO..... I have a plan for my part and hope to post it by tomorrow night..............

My apologies, I forgot that as Himiko made no reference of them moving toward the ship... I shall make alterations... [Edited to add] Modifications made... I think continuity is restored... I think we were all covering the same moments from different perspectives and couldn't see the wood for the trees ;D

========================================================
Lost in his reverie Vious was totally unprepared for what happened next. Having re-committed himself to the Dark Side he lifted the mask and put it back on. Instantly his danger sense went wild and the mask was struck by a Tuskan Raider’s slug. Even though his Force enhanced reflexes had already begun moving him out of the way the impact was enough to flip him head over heels. The fact that the shot came from the heights opposite the cave combined with the density of the mask saved Vious’ life. He lay there stunned into semi-consciousness for the second time in as many minutes and felt the heat of the rage build. Something was wrong! He drew in another painful breath and grew angrier. The Jedi had gotten past him in Mos Eisley, had ambushed him and caused him bodily injury, had then escaped him, and now he’d been so self absorbed he hadn’t sensed the new attack in enough time to avoid it.
The rage built and he embraced its heat. His head cleared and he used the Force to spring up from the ground. Without thinking he unleashed all his fury at the place the shot came from. With his howl of frustration still echoing in the canyon, the rocks opposite him exploded in an avalanche of dust and boulders. Momentarily spent he sagged to his knees breathing heavily. The Scimitar would arrive shortly, he mused, and he could once again begin the hunt, though more warily this time. Hett’s presence explained to him that curious feeling he’d had in the passages. Ryn’s was a bit of a surprise since he’d thought her dead.
A tremor in the Force told him his recent attackers hadn’t quite given up yet. Rising he turned toward the cave opening and summoned his saber to his hand. He could feel several of them in the darkness of the opening and decided to let them come to him. Standing with feet spread and saber held, deactivated, at his side he stretched out to the Force and felt them decide.
The first few shots he merely dodged, swatting one aside with a smooth motion of his now activated blade. Then he decided to have some fun. When the next volley came he simply stood still and raised his hand. It was a bit of a risk, he knew, but the effect should be worth it. He focused on the slugs and felt each of them screaming toward his body. Then he used the Force to grab them in mid air, almost gently, and they stopped, though a few were uncomfortably close. He’d been planning a bit more fun but just then he heard the Scimitar enter the canyon so he simply sent them flying back to where they had come from. To his satisfaction he sensed both fear and astonishment along with the muted grunts as some of the slugs found new targets. Repulsors blaring, his ship hovered over the landing area and the hatchway opened. Vious leaped straight into the hatch and was once more on the hunt before his assailants could recover for a third volley…
As they settled into the seats around Makirto the others had much to think about. Ryn and Hett stared at each other for a few moments before Kaelin caught the exchange.
“You both look as though you’d seen a ghost.” Kaelin offered.
“Not too far from the truth,” Hett replied with a sigh.
“No. Not a ghost. A shadow.” Was Ryn’s rebuttal.
Kaelin looked from one to another and caught the wave of remorse passing through the Force. “You know who he is!” he said, “Mask or no mask you both know him!”
The ship lurched suddenly as Makirto spun around in his chair ignoring the controls. “You what!” he managed to get out before Noriko’s shriek of alarm had him spinning back again. Sitting in space ahead of them was the clean white outline of a Clone troopship and its attendant gun ships.
“I knew bringing the Human to Tatooine was a bad idea!” Makirto exclaimed as he thought wildly for an idea. A moment later he had it. “Noriko! Pull up the last jump coordinates from the navicomp and reverse them! Everyone else, pick a gun turret and get there yesterday!”
As everyone sped to do as they had been bidden the ship rocked from the first impact of the nearest gun ship’s cannon. “Better strap in!” Makirto called as he hit a switch on the console. Most of the lights on the ship went out, and there was a noticeable drop in the cabin noise as the air scrubbers and life support shut down as well.
He keyed the ship’s comm. “Look lively people! I just put all the chips on the table! Keep us from becoming part of the background radiation long enough for us to make the jump!”
The next two minutes were an eternity as the Jedi manned the guns, seemingly firing at random. In actuality though they were using their shots to cause the gun ships to swerve into each others trajectories spoiling many of their enemies chances to shoot. Still several shots did strike home, causing the shield generators to whine in complaint. The shields held however and just as the pilots managed to compensate for the Jedi’s tactic and re-deploy to counter it the hyperdrive kicked in and the scene faded to starlines…
The Scimitar reached orbit to find the task force in disarray. Vious knew the Jedi had eluded them and was glad the hunt was still his alone. Keying his comm Frequency to Palpitane’s private channel he prepared to make his report. The holographic image of Palpitane’s hooded face appeared on his viewscreen.
“Lord Vious.” He purred, “What is the progress of your mission?”
“Sire. The Jedi sensed a trap and were already in flight by the time I caught up to them. The task force failed to stop them and they have escaped into hyperspace. I did, however, place a tracking beacon on their hull. I shall pursue them and destroy them as ordered.” Vious replied. The pause in Palpitane’s response and the slight movement of his head told Vious his report was not what the Emperor wanted to hear.
“Very well Lord Vious.” Came the response. “See to it that your next report is much improved.” Though spoken mildly the threat was both obvious and palpable.
“Yes Sire. It shall be as you wish.” Vious replied, barely concealing the sarcasm in his voice.
"Good." was Palpitane's curt acknowedgement before cutting him off and ending the transmission.
Switching channels he fed the signal information from the beacon into the navicomp and was soon off in pursuit of the fleeing Jedi.
