On A Dark Past it's taking me a little longer than expected to get the story rollin. I had to change a couple of things which completely threw the story out of wack realizing this I've scrapped the entire story and started over with the same central idea. Well anyways I hope to get it goin soon.
(I just realized this was post number 300 for me. YAY.)

*jaw drops to the ground* Himiko, you may be happy to know that, were your story to be printed out at its current length, it would be 144 pages long!!! You have beat even my longest story by twenty pages already..and yours isn't even finished yet!!! I've copied all 13 'pages' of it so far...but printing 144 pages, even with our laser printer, would be suicide. At 2 seconds per page, that works out to... 4.8 minutes? Somehow that doesn't sound right... *peers at calculator quizzically.* Wow.. I didn't realise that.. I really need to get rolling and finish this.. Im almost done with it but Ive had brain lock..

sometimes I find that working backward from a decided ending can ease brain-lock like that. If you know how you want to end it just begin there and work back to where you are now.....might help.

UGH! No, Tenric...I can't even do that...as I've said before, the computer I write my stories on does not have internet access. I've had too many bad experiances with accidentally-deleted stories or them being lost, so I've put them on my slowest, most stable machine...which has Windows 3.1. It's never crashed and nobody uses it but me so my stories are safe. But this new computer does NOT have a floppy drive, the old one doesn't have USB capabilities OR a CD burner...so I'm stuck. My bro had offered to install XP or 2000 on the machine he built me, which does have a floppy drive...but it turns out it's too slow. In other words, the only way to post them is meticulously copying them from printed material to this computer. No matter how long it takes, I WILL post the rest of my stories...you have my word on this...
