Okay we all know how Vader has always kinda hated the emperor and wanted to overthrow him right. So i was watching the scene today when the operation table was raised and you see him in all of his glory. Well i noticed he was opening and closing his hands, trying them out and when Palpatine says...Lord Vader, can you hear me, his hands especially his left one balls up tightly and stays that way like he struggles to say Yesss master.
What do you all think?

It could be symbolic of having his last human hand now a machine aswell, or it could just be representative of his frustration about being a machine now.

Or it's just how the animator drew them. As we know from the trailers- Vader's arms were originally upright on the operating table when it tilts upward. George had this digitally altered because he felt it looked better with his arms down, and that it would keep in continuity with the position his arms were in as he was being operated on. When Vader pulls himself off the table- you will notice both his arms are quickly in a semi-upright position. This is a quick transition from animated arms to live action arms.

in all honesty george lucas i dont thing thinks that far into things, he has a tendancy to get lucky and be able to tie stuff together. he probably did it to make vader look menecing

Well I think he does stuff last minute as well. Im sure he had people that would point stuff out sayin: "Hey, from ESB Vader did this.." Or some other tidbit that had to be linked to the others
