Just so you know Ryss, the University of Calgary has an awesome Greek and Roman Studies program. I've taken two of their courses as options. Plus there's a fencing club here. (Not meaning to advertise or anything, of course).

I am not married but have a girlfriend. Been together for over 2 years(2yr. and 4 months). We have a daughter together who was born on January 23, 2005 ;D(will try to post a picture of her, she is just so beautiful). I know we are both young but I love both my girlfriend and my daughter very much. We plan on getting married but not untill after collage, or just before we graduate. Currently I am attending collage earning my B.A. (hopefully masters or PHD.) in education. My girlfriend will be starting next semester, and will work on a nursing degree. As for my race I am a mutt. On my Mother’s side: Mother-Half Hispanic, other half mix of German, Swedish, and Irish. Grandfather-German, Swedish, and Irish. Grandmother-Half German, half Hispanic. On my Father’s side: Father-mix of Apache Indian, Spanish, and Mexican. Grandmother-same except for Spanish. Grandfather-Not to sure (don’t know him) but I think he is Spanish and American Indian.
That's all for now will post more about myself if anyone wants to know.

Me, I'm Half German, from my fathers side. My Dad is all German. His Parents both came from pure German families, and their parents all cam over from Germany in 1902 and 03. I am One quarter Scottish and one Quarter Choctaw Indian from my mothers side. Her mother was Scottish, her Father was the Choctaw. I look mostly German, size, and pale skin. Also Scottish from the Size, facial hair and sorts. The only Indian looking traits the show in me, is the coloring of my hair, and the high cheek bones and the small indian shaped eyes I have. Most of my cousins on my mother side of the family got more of the Indian traits.
I have studied very intently on all of my heritage. And I take great pride in all of my heritage. But thats the Beauty of being American isn't it? The great diversity we have, not only in cultures, but the many different looking people.

Anybody like to watch or play sports?
I usually don't watch sports unless it's the Olympics.. and then I only watch certain things like the gymnastics stuff and the skating. I don't watch TV much otherwise, just DVD's, and I mostly watch them on the computer.
I love to watch dancing, although I don't dance very well myself.
What I love doing is rollerblading and ice skating... I took lessons for many years. And I have a brown belt in TaeKwonDo. I like hiking in the woods and I have this strange urge to climb trees... i don't know why.
Music.... I'm a big YES fan... and I like alot of stuff from the 90's. But my CD collection is as ecclectic as it gets. Right now in my 5 CD player is... let's see: *looks in tray* Soundtrack from Moulin Rouge, Massive Attack- "Mezzanine", Dreamtheater- "Scenes from a Memory", a burnt CD of SW tracks, and Pink Floyd's "the Wall".

Sports? Hmmm.... I played Hockey (goalie), through College, and played Simi-pro for 5 years after College. Use to play golf, racquetball, & softball BC, (Before Children). Now I mostly hike and camp, (Cub / Boy Scout Leader).
TV Sports, mostly Hockey and football, don't get between the TV and my wife during a Broncos game, you take your life in your hand at that point .
Took a Semester of Aikido and Kendo in college, should have kept it up, after 25 years who knows where I'd be.

Alright Leda! How long have you been in TKD? Do you have a date set to grade for your Black Belt or are you working along and seeing how it goes?

Single in no relationship and not wanting a relationship. I subscribe to the Jaded club when it comes to love. Though I have no pets now, I plan to be the wacky old lady with 100 cats one day.
I actually have four siblings, though at most people only ever know about one. Lynn - 40 Russell - 37 J.R. - 27 Gino - would be 25 (Stillborn) Yes, I am the baby at 22.
Thanks to my love philosophy, I will most likely never have children, but I have two nieces and three nephews that are darn close enough: Alexandra - 11 Tevin - 10 Anthony - 9 Christopher - 7 Jackie - 6
When Alex and Jackie were babies, I use to tumble for them to make them laugh. As soon as they got old enough, both wanted to start taking dance and gymnastics clases. If that aint close enough to my own children, what is?
I am a European mutt, meaning I am Italian (Sicilian, Neapolatan and Corsican), Spanish, French, English, Irish and Scottish. Seeing that Sicily has been ruled over by everyone under the sun, I am probably a lot more that I do not know about.
Raised Catholic; went to a Catholic school so that I could start a year early, transfered out for junior high and was basically forced through confirmation. Dabled in Paganism my Sophmore year of high school until I finally figured out I was agnostic.
I am the tripple threat, Carnie, Reanie and Circus Freak. My family owned and operated a carnival before I was born. I have been working at the Bristol Renaissance Faire since 2000 Until I moved out to the boonies (literally, Boone county) I was taking Circus arts. I started acrobatics when I was 6, and dance shortly after, and just recently started taking dance classes at a studio in Chicago.
Best Subject: Vocabulary (though it does not show as much online as it does in person because...) Worst Subject: Spelling
Thats all for now folks!

Well Shatir...I've been in TKD since 1999... Unfortunately the school closed about a year ago... Ironically I was considering taking a break anyway since I was at a standstill and didn't know how to get past it. Since then I've been toying around with other styles.. Goju Ryu and Aikido. But I decided to drop the search for a dojo (for now) and buy a wavemaster (like a free-standing heavy bag for kicking and punching) for my downstairs. I really love it...
I'm sure I'll stumble upon the right school at some point... but for now, the bag will do!

Neat. That's what my father and his family did--the carny circuit and also worked for Ringling Brothers too--back in 20-30s. JMD

We seem to be on the same page Leda...I hit a brick wall with my Tai Chi after almost two years....it is a form that has 72 movements....a bear to learn...I got a little over half way...and I just could not seem to master a few of the movements....I don't go to class anymore..but continue to do as much of the "form" as I learned...
