Well, I am married 6 years this April 1st(not a joke) to follow new forum member Ismene. We met online because of STAR WARS. She and I are attending CIII togther as our anniversary gift to each other. 3 kids(if you count dogs) names are Jaster, Sagan and Deckard(extra points if you know where the names come from!). Ismene shares my passion for SW but was not into the costume aspect as much until recently now she is hooked.

Jaster Mereel (an EU alias of Boba Fett), Carl Sagan (an astronomer and scifi writer I think, but I know my mom has one of his books), and I have no idea about Deckard.

lol... single... never been married.... don't wanna be married... and at my age ....ain't never gonna be married... no prospects.... and don't care....lol... no pets one tatoo (a gryphon) been all over the US ...but never off continent... camped in Alaska, horse-packed in the Rockies, attended an Olympics, camped all over the West.... former gear-head and drag racer prescription burn firefighter and chain-saw maniac doing volunteer Prairie Restoration... Own my own home...paid it off this year... all in all....have been a pretty busy Jedi...  |

 Me and Karm and Nerf. Pics like a year and a half old now. I think pretty much everyone knows everything about me by now. I'm 38, married 13 years, one spoiled Padawan son. Dog (Spanky), cat (Yugi), two gerbils (Ian & Angus McGerbil) and a fish. Hubby has rare autoimmune disease that keeps him feeling ill a lot of the time. He is now undergoing kind of experiemental bio (chemo) therapy. Youngest of six kids. Mother died last June, dad still alive and going strong. Artifical left eye due to lightsaber training accident (not really, I had cancer at 10 months of age). Love all things SW, and horses. And Ewan |

WTG! Shatir got two out of three for our dogs: Jaster Mereel (Perrin chose this one) -20lb. terrier Carl Saga - astrophysicist wrote lots of non-fiction but also wrote the novel that became the movie Contact (I chose this one because my undergrad is in Physics) - German Shep. Deckard - as in Rick Deckard, lead character in Blade Runner (one of Perrin and mine's fav. movies) based on the book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" by my fav author Philip K. Dick (of Minority Report, Total Recall, Screamers, Imposter, etc. fame) You can see some pics of Jaster and Sagan at my website: www.personal.kent.edu/~plucasst/Photos.htmI haven't got around to adding Deckard, he is a St. Bernard - 7 mo. old and weights about 110 lbs. already! You are thinking in the right time period and area of the world! Ismene is a character in Sophocles' play Oedipus Rex. She was one of the daughters of Oedipus and his wife/mother Jocasta. I picked the name in deference to Jocasta Nu, Jedi Librarian! Oedipus and Jocasta's other daughter is more famous: Antigone [an ti go nee]. I am a librarian for NASA and you should have seen the chatter on librarian listservs and message boards the day after EpII came out. Huge philosophical discussion about the Jedi Code and the Librarian Code of Ethics (ala.org) and about Jocasta's reference technique. It was hillarious. Ismene |

Em here....  Married for 15 years...divorced for 20 years ;D LOL will never marry again..... to old and set in my ways now...and I love being single. I have an easy going, low key, laid back lifestyle with no baggage and I have worked hard for everything I have.... Son.. 31 yrs Daughter... 28yrs Son....26yrs They support me in my crazy Jedi ways and are always buying me StarWars stuff...When they tease me, I always tell them that they could be dragging me out of the bars instead... ...and that my "stuff" is their inherientance.... Roomates with daughter (5'8" Blonde hair, brown eyes) for now because of hurricane Ivan but soon she will be back out on her own and I shall be very lonely after that.... she is my best friend....and very beautiful and looking for Mr. Right...lol Own my own home will be paid off in 5 years (hopefully if plans go right)...(two guest rooms...lol) Drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee (paid for) I live at a beautiful beach...well, 7 miles from it, but close enough....One mile from our Bay.... one tatoo of the 30 year symbol of Star Trek....it was a mark for my 50th birthday (long story)...lol My daughter and I have lots of pets...6 dogs, 1 cat, 2 birds, 1 trantula, 1 pacman frog, 1 ball python, 2 turtles, 3 fish.....they will all go with her when she moves, except for 1 dog and cat...lol I have written a book....would love to retire and just write.....which reminds me I haven't written on my Jedi story in awhile.... I love doing outdoorsy things, but never get the chance to do them.... I am 5'6" tall Short blonde hair and blue eyes ( and...no grey....yet..  ..yet) I don't have any recent pictures but I shall be submitting one, to Xana, of me in March for my offical membership, in my Jedi garb. I am very laid back and easy going. I am honest and I love life and everyone....well, almost everyone.... there is that one little discrepancy about 34 years ago...but it is not important now...lol ;D I have learned in my years not to include mean people in my life...they drain to much out of me.... That's me...what you see is what you get.....online and in life ;D |
