I must agree Nova, if I was to go to hell, it would be far worse for me if it was cold instead of hot! Yes Xana, I will soon be home...no more cold weather...YIPPEE! Actually, I feel this way about the cold because of the years I spent in NC. We had several bad winters, with quite a bit of snow, and I just got tired of having cold feet. That is acutally why I hate cold weather so much, because I can never seem to keep my feet warm. Now back on topic ;D. I have to add Gatorade to my list. I try not to drink to much of it, because it can actually be bad for you if you drink a lot and are not exercising, but I have some every day. Not that I am exercising !

What do I drink...... ...checks the fridge.... Water!! Filtered through a Brita faucet filter, and then through a Brits filter pitcher. I drink over a gallon of water a day, too. Coffee!! I like the blends from Little Coffee Shop of Horrors in Georgia. I like my coffee light and sweet.....the sweetness coming from Splenda As for alcohol, Amstel Light beer and Cabernet Savignon wine. Romulan Ale? Umm.....it's.....okay, but strong because of the rum.

1. Pepsi 2. Everything Else
Though a lot of drinks are really cool. Occasionally Guiness definitely hits the spot, as does Dew. My friend Heather gave me some Spiced Pepsi last night and it was cool.

Coffee!! I like the blends from Little Coffee Shop of Horrors in Georgia. Oh right... how could I forget about that? www.coffeeshopofhorrors.comMy fave is "Skull Island" and then there was one that I bought this year at DC that had "enough caffeine to wake the dead" but I can't remember the name. Also Red Bull is consumed often, although I really ought to find out what Taurine is. Anyone ever have MT DEW BLACK? Yuk... only soda I actually dislike. Now if they made it in diet, I might like it. It 's just way too sweet (coming from one who can eat an entire bag of candy corn!)

Taurine is a non-essential amino acid Leda, that is important for the production of bile, and for the proper functioning of the nervous system. Here's a better description, from the Florida State University website:
"Taurine is a non-essential sulfur-containing amino acid that functions with glycine and gamma-aminobutyric acid as a neuroinhibitory transmitter. While taurine does not have a genetic codon and is not incorporated into proteins and enzymes, it does play an important role in bile acid metabolism. Taurine is incorporated into one of the most abundant bile acids, chenodeoxychloic acid where it serves to emulsify dietary lipids in the intestine, promoting digestion."
LOL! Does that help?

LOL!!! Thanks Shoshana! Yes it does... a neuroinhibitory transmitter... those are the ones that calm you I think, right? Stabilize your brain... maybe I should drink more! And here I almost fell for that "urban-legend" like rumor that it was a substance derived from bull urine. Hmmm wonder how that started... maybe Taurus the Bull, Ta urine, Red Bull... I can see the connections!

It was unbleached muslim, and that's what they used to put the coffee in in the OLDEN Days, they'd tie it in a bundle & hang it in the pot, & then just wash & reuse them. I do that w/ large spices in soup or stews too. Bouquet Garni, but makes removal easier especially with things like dry bay leaves that are dangerous to eat.
