Gwyn most definitly is a boys name! Especially in Wales, and Scotland, what Arthurian tale were youy reading? I haven't kept birds in awhile, my demon kitty would probably try to turn them into lunch, she likes to hunt!

We had 2 birds when i was little. I dont remember much of them. We let my kitty Sybil have 1 litter of kittens before we fixed her. She had them on her first b-day lol. One of the neibors took one, a deef white one. He snuck into the house one day and ate the birds.... and to think my parents told me the birds flew away. Almost got my hands on a parot once. But my mom wouldnt let me keep it permanently. Oh well. lol. I'll stick to cats thank you.

::stares at Nova:: Yeah, I knew it used to be Welsh (wasn't sure about Scottish, but that sure makes sense). How did you know it was an Arthurian tale? Gwyn was Gwalchmai's (Gawain's) son, in this one series... I can't remember the name. One of the books was Hawk of May, have you read it?

I wish I did. Horses are really great animals (especially mustangs... yeehaw!), but there's nowhere for them to run in this crowded city. I knew there was a reason I missed the country.

Yes, I have read that series, liked them alot! I have had several horses in the past, but rent for horses in NYC is more than rent for people. My last horse was an 8 yr old Mustang that I bought?rescued from a traveling rodeo,he was a grey paint w appoloosa spots on his rump,a little confused colourwise, his name was Moonshadow but he was just called Shadey, followed me around like a dog and loved POPCORN!

Horses? I have horses I have an Appolosa wo is 32 and still rideable a bit blind in the left eye but the most bombproof thing you have ever seen and the best Search and Rescue horse I ever had and any one had ever seen. Jessie
And a 22 year old QH who thinks he is about three he was a retired Seattle police horse who was trained dressage themn became a drill team horse then became my most awsome barrel racin horse. We still ride him he loves Dr peper. Star we use to have like six horses then we downsized My fav was a resced thourbreed from the tracks. He was like a big dog.we were leasing him girl showed up after four years of no contact and took him home one day when I wasen't home. How rude is that. Would love a spanish mustang but really want a Fressian.

She just showed up and took her horse back........not only rude, but completely heartless as well ! I wish I had a horse, but I don't have the space and right now I don't have the time to care for one . My uncle has a retired police horse (she's a QH) named Tinky. I try to visit every week to ride her and help take care of her, but he lives about 45mins away, which makes it hard. My mom told me one day that as a kid I used to tell her everyday that I hated her because she wouldn't buy me a horse!! I love them, but I'm not a great rider. Still working on it. Still just have my two puppies, Misha and Cocoa. I am trying to convince Solorad to get another one, but he's not cooperating. Cocoa needs another playmate. Even though he's five, he is still crazy, and needs more exercise. Misha has decided that he is too old to play as hard as he used to (he's 9 1/2).

Pets I have......My daughter lived with me for this past year to help me after shoulder surgery. Collectively we had
6 dogs....Logan,Belle,Roy,Katie,Buster and Que-linda 2 cats Lila and Dixie(who recently died) 2 Carolina Finches 2 Sun Conyers 1 turtle 2 rats 2 mice 1 ball python 1 trantula 1 Pacman frog 1 tree frog 4 wild birds that I rehabilitated and sent to the wildlife santuary 1 grey squirrel that we saved and kept until she died of old age 1 baby flying squirrel that my son has now.
*whew* needless to say, we are animal lovers. Alot of these animals were rescues. As a matter of fact everything except the Pacman frog and the tree frog were...lol
I only have 2 dogs and 1 cat now. Belle (6years) is a Dixie Dingo, which is a breed originated from the Dingos of Austraila and bred for hunting in the Carolinas in the 1800s. Buster(4 years) is a Rat Terrier that I rescued because a man wanted to put him to sleep because he was hyper....go figure...lol. Lila is half Siamese and Tabby. She is 16 years old........and my beloved Dixe(6years) was a pure black cat that was literally my shadow. She had a seizure and I couldn't save her. She will be missed. My daughter now has her own house and it is V-E-R-Y Q-U-I-T-E here now....LOL

[glow=yellow,1,500]Hey everyone! I have an anouncment! There is a new addition to the kitties in my house. I now have another little boy kitty who's grey, has a cute pushed up face and bog ol ears. He looks like a tiny grey yoda so we have named him just that, Yoda....he's 7 weeks old and right now my boy Darth is being a booger head and hissing at him....it'll be a while but we'll see if the force can balance out here. Fye is just scared of Yoda because Darth now hisses at him as well when Yoda pops up. Oh well.... lol...[/glow]
