Is it sulphur, or apricot crested? I have a cat, called Tenement Funster, it's the title of a Queen song, but fits her personality, she's a demon kitty. I had two cats until a few weeks ago, but the older one got ill, and passed away. Funster won't tolerate another cat, so I'll be a single cat household for a while, I long while I hope, she's a brat, but I really adore her and she's good company.

I have a cat. Her name is Lucy. She's 16. I get her way back when at the animal shelter when she was all of 5 or 6 weeks, along with here brother, Linus. He passed away last year. But they have both been two of the most loving, and friendly pets a person could ever ask for.

Snakes can be fun, but they are never really good pets, and be really careful after handleing any Herpe, many of them can pass along salmonella and other serious diseases, they are better for older kids. Serious hand washing after handling!!!! My first job was milking RATTLESNAKES! You'd be surprised how many rattlesnakes there are in NJ. also copperheads & cottonmouth wmocs. I had an iguana a few years ago, I got a really bad lung infection when cleaning his tank, and ended upin the hospital for 8 days(eck!) turned out that he had it first and died while I was incubating it. And I know to be careful. I don't like feeding live animals to other animals, so I've given up on snakes as pets, that was why I got the Iguana, he was great because he ate a lot of my leftover vegetable stuff, and there was always veggies and fruit in the house 'cos I'm a veggie.

Most reptiles are dangerouse to a human if you dont wash your hands and stuff after words. I got lucky when i had a turtle. I practically showered after touching him. of coarse half the time we took him swimming with us int he pool. it was really fun. TO bad he died... i acctually think i scared him to death... dont ask....

[glow=blue,2,300]I haven't pets now. I used to have a Zoo growing up. At one time the family had over 30 animals. 4 rabbits(parent bunnies had 2 babbies), 7 felines, 3 canines, 3 birds,(Parakeet, zebra finch, and wild bird) 1 rat, and 13 mice. Mysister liked tocolelct them, but they usually ended up coming to me, or following me a round the house. Mainly I'd wake up with a host of critters sleeping on my bed with me. One of the cats liked sleeping under the coverts with me. LOL After I went to college I'd ahve an awesome privlage to bird sit my pastor's green Quaker parrot-Crackers and C.ockateal- Petetweet. THose two birds were a trip, they enjoyed being around me and i them. They'd follow me all over the house or be perched on me for HOURS. I tooka nap they'd sleep on me until I woke up or one of them decided I should wake up. I'd get a wake-up call with one of them rubbing their head under my chin, so I could pet them. Somehow animals like me. I msut be strong in the living force thingy LOL. JK Nahhh. :)jauhzmynn [/glow]

I bird sit too! I love that bird! He's a Peach-faced Lovebird with a bit of an attitude and likes to sit on your head. I spoil him when I am there. I let him fly around the room all day, and then put him back in the cage at night.;D

I got two cats. A six-year old tabby named Sabrina that we inherited from the neighbors when they moved, and a white one-year old named Gwyn. Gwyn is a boy, I got the name from a medieval book. (Everyone thinks it's a girl name, but it started out as a boys name.)
I gotta see... thingyatoo.

[glow=Blue,2,300]Petetweet (C.ockateal) liked to sit on my head as well. Their family ahd a dog, anhd BOTH birds would imatate the dog barking. LOOL Petetweet would say his name A long "Peeeeettweete!" and do an beeping alarm clock sound. Only thing I didn't like whhen bird sitting was occasionaly while Crackers was on my shoulder, he'd try to grab my earrings and pull. Or he'd reach over and snatch one of my long eyelashes. THAT hurt . Their family was going to give me the birds but my grandmother (Staying with her over summers home from college) wouldn't have it. <sigh> jauhzmynn[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]They are a trip. An even bigger one when you'er on the Comlink talking to someone, and Peteweet decides to say his name in my ear, and that mic did pick him up. Or when he and crackers start arguing while I'm in conferance,G> the other people hear it and crackup. Maybe next time Petetwet perches on my head I'll say "Bird perch, I am not!". jauhzmynn[/glow]
