I am asking for prayer that I can get through this semester of school because I just seem to be stressing out a lot, which isn't a good thing, I should be be done after this semester, that is if I pass the classes I need to talk.

Do well in your classes! And think about how nice it will be to complete them. The best people to talk to are the others who are also taking those classes. Or the ones who have finished them. It shares the burden.

Study hard, do your best, get extra help. Worrying won't help you. We've all been there. If you need to talk to someone, colleges usually have on-campus counseling. Good luck!

I ask for prayers for my brother-in-law John who's been in and out of the psychiatric hospital for the past 2 months after an issue with his bi-polar. He's out now but it will take a while before he gets back to work. He's in sales so his income is commission only. Also I ask for prayers for a woman I know through work, Sydney. She has cancer and I pray that she makes a full recovery. And I pray it does not take long for my wife and I to find jobs here in FL. We've been here 5 months and my wife hasn't found a job yet. At least she has unemployment coming in. Also my job through my work (working remotely) in NY ends next month. Thank you!

I would like prayer, so that I can get the job I was interviewed for, because it is the kind of job I would really like to have, and the benefits I need.

Prayers going out for all. I'm not sure who has been here on TJA because it IS so very quiet but If anyone gets a chance to see this please keep Quicher in your prayers. She was in a car accident on Oct. 30. This was after we had a very nice evening out--taking my mom & aunt out to see the Halloween stores---I was dressed in Jedi--minus my robe--to warm. We came home had some treats & Quicher left my house to go home. :oAbout 5-10 minutes later she calls me to call 911 because she had been in a car accident a couple of blocks from my house. A car was attempting to play "chicken with her" & forced Quicher to sadly crash into a park car to avoid getting hit by the car coming her way. Her airbag opened which saved her. She had her cell phone but it wouldn't dial 911 so she called me & I called 911 for her. I attempted to call her back & heard the paramedics in the background---I was going to go myself to see if I could help her, but she was taken to the hospital. Her car was totaled. That's the bad news . The good news --if you can call it that is that Quicher only suffered a broken knee cap because the air bag protected her--if it hadn't she'd have probably been very very badly injured or killed. Please pray that her knee heals correctly--she was at the doctor & no tendants were injured, thank God. Also please pray for my aunt to settle herself down because she tends to panic a lot & she is still recovering from the shock of hearing about Quicher. As for myself I had to use a lot of Jedi relaxation techniques to calm myself down.

Very sorry to hear about Quicher's misfortune! Did the other car stop? It's very good that she wasn't hurt badly. Will she be in therapy for the knee? Calmness is good for times like this. Calmness will help Quicher much more than not-calmness.
Aaaaah, yes, it's been quiet lately. It's the 'off' season, I think.

Thank you. I will let Quicher know. She was back "on the job" today & as stubborn as always---as they say you can't keep a good Jedi Apprentice down. From what she told me each time she attempted to get out of the way of the car coming it moved with her & this happened a couple of times. It's like the other car was "toying" with her. After she crashed into a parked truck to avoid crashing into the other driver---she had no other options. Then the other driver left the scene & went on their way. She showed me a pic of her car----YUCK I thought I was looking at the trunk but it was actually the engine--the radiator was lying flat on top of the engine--or the front of her car got crushed up into the dashboard---no airbag would have killed or very very seriously injured her perminantly. I guess the Force has much more work for her to do because, except for left leg with a cast from ankle to hip on her she's back to sort of being her old funny self with a bit of pain to go along with it.

My wife is still looking for work and I have my job for another month at least. However, we've had to take our dog to the vet today which she may have liver disease, an abcess or tumor in her liver. Or she may have Addison's. We have to have her on a new diet and medicine and see how she does after a month. And then more tests perhaps. So after $300 today we may have to spend at least another $400 in tests in a month. So if anyone would like to send prayers our way, we'd be more than appreciative. I've been trying to sell whatever I can. We're living paycheck to paycheck and after my work runs out, I'll need to find work fast. Thank you & God Bless!

No fun having a sick pet. Been there... I hope she gets better on the new food and meds and that solves her problem. I used to put Chelsea's meds and supplements in meat baby food. That worked well! It's hard to get pills into a 5lb dog. meat baby food is easier on their tummies if they are sick, too.

Prayers to all. Quicher is almost ready to have a short brace put on her knee. She's getting around well & so is my aunt. I'll be out of town 1st wk in Dec. I think I'm taking the laptop with me---not a convention ---Jedi costume stays home but........ if you think of it offer a prayer for a safe trip.
