Prayers going out to everyone. Please send some prayers our way.  We've just found out my Aunt, who lives with me, has to have hip replacement surgery sometime in the next month. Sooooooooooooooooo that's going to make the future really in motion. At this time I have no idea what the next event will be that I will be able to do, till we know she's ok. I almost feel like I've got a handicapped hospital in my house. All of us  (my mom, me & my aunt) have had surgeries every year since Sept 2003. 2 knees, 1 hip, 1 hip repair, 2 shoulders & now another hip. Right now all I need is the strength & MUCH patience to get through this----again. |

I'm sooo sorry to hear this... just when you felt like you'd gotten through everything...
There's a verse in the Bible that says "Hope deferred makes the heart sick". It rings very true.
I will pray for endurance and encouragement.... and for opportunities for you to get out and "troop" and be with people... even if it's a short "mission" here or there. You need some fun.
Prayers for you and your mom and your aunt!!

:)Thank you it's much appreciated. I have a few small events being planned--crossing fingers I can get to them. At least now I have a :)gps system for my car so I might be able to take myself a bit better if they're close to home. Things are now in the planning stage for my Aunt. She's going to undergo therapy at 1st to build up the muscles in her back---at 1st she was going to have to go across town but we found out she can go where I go for my therapy---so that will ease things a bit. Then her  family will have to coordinate who will have to come up & help her (she has 5 grown children--they all live out of state). Her knees surgeries were left up to me take care of but I've had to tell her family that they've got to do their part to help her to for this hip surgery. |

Danine was hospitalized today with pneumonia. She is very miserable, but doing better with the medical attention.

JQ: good for you in insisting her family step up. With your own surgeries, you do need the help!
Mon-Jas: I hope she is better soon! I've been there. The recovery can take a while.

Prayers to you Mon-Jas, I hope she feels a whole lot better. Prayers going out for all. Thank you for the support. We hope by July 22 to know when my Aunt's hip surgery will actually be---if it were up to her she'd get it done tomorrow, but the doctor & her family have to coordinate. I do hope that it can be done the 1st or 2nd wk in August. I would like to ask for some prayers for Ereyne Izara, my former Padawan. She is now almost ready to have her new youngling--& hopefully she & her new little son will come through successfully & healthy. I know she's been anxious these last several months. Also if you would pray for her husband & her mother. A prayer for Quicher also--she's suffering from a good case of the flu. In the very near future I have to have my right foot & left leg looked at & possibly my left hip---Quicher is insisting I have them checked out----something I sort of dread. I could picture me in the future needing a knee or hip replacement myself........but.....I'd really like not to hear about that now. I do know my left knee is acting up  but I am able to walk, thank the force. I know I can walk DC but resting before & after will be necessary as usual. |

To all ... Danine is getting a bit stronger everyday ... She is resting and trying to do a little more each day ... I'm not sure when she'll go back to work.

Danine went back to work and is doing well ... Today she will talk to the Doctor and find out when she can go back to faire.
