You know how marshmallows ALWAYS come up in our discussions? Well, what if there was one thread where you could say anything about marshmallows you want? Just like how in Random Thoughts you could say anything about real life you wanted. I'll start. Did anyone ever have the Star Wars cereal with the little marshmallows in it? I thought that was the best cereal I ever had, and not just because of Star Wars. OK, not totally because of Star Wars. lol.  |

After Ep. 2 they had the cereal with Clone Trooper heads for teh marshmallows. Those were good.
Did C3P-Os cereal have marshmallows?

I don't think they did, but I wasnt around back then. Yeah, the clone trooper head marshmallows are what I was talking about. You know what would be cool? A re-release of C-3P"O"s.

Well, when I was a wee little Jedi, me and my friends use to use marshmellows as boulders and ice chunks when we would play with our star wars toys, mostly when we would play the Hoth battles in winter, and the Endor battles at other times. Most of the time we made up our own sagas and battles. But there were always the marshmellows we would use. My parent would get so mad that I'd waste so many of them like that.

Once we ran out of marshmallows for the bonfire so we used stale marshmallow peeps.... they turned out to be the best toasted marshmallows I'd ever had! The sugar got brown and crunchy.... looked like fried chicken, but tasted awesome!
Now peeps are a camping tradition! ;D

Not 100% marshmallow related, but cereal related. Has anyone seen the SW Frosted MiniWheats? I just got a box, and it has a mini-wheat with a lightsaber on the front and facts about the films on the back. Really cool. Sorry I got off topic.

You do Pennsic huh? Thats cool. I've been trying to get to Pennsic for a while now. Just never had the time to coordinate to go. I'm usually busy with many different Ren Fests.

I've been to Pennsic War 6 times!
The place is getting a wee bit crowded with 14,000
SCAdians camping on the same patch of soil. I think that 2003 will be the last time I will ever go to War because Pennsic conflicts with DragonCon. ;D

Pennsic War is the SCA's "yearly convention". Every year
during the 3rd week of August thousands of SCAdians appear to hang-out, and compete in various skills that people do in the SCA such as armoured combat, arts and science skills (i.e. calligraphy, sewing, historical reasearch), and archery (handbow and crossbow).
There are people from all over the country (and sometimes from all over the world!) who come to Pennsic War. There are people there who you meet and become friends with who you will only see once a year at Pennsic.
I've been to Pennsic War 6 times and have had fun attending. But, now that over 14,000 people attend the event has become a wee bit crowded. Pennsic has also become too hot to attend. It is typically 90+ degrees Fahrenheit during the day, and all you do is drink Gatorade and perspire.
