Why name something that will be used for food, even if the food is for a snake?
That's what I don't get about those people who raise their own meat. They name them. Me, if I named it, I'd never be able to kill it.

He's not technically ours, but we're letting him crash in our garage. He's really sweet, purring and rubbing against everyone. I've looked for his owners, but no one can find them. No collar, and no Lost Cat alerts. He hasn't made any aggressive moves or even marked anything. Dad's going to take him in to the vet to see if he's microchipped.

Though I'm allergic to dogs so can't pet them, I've been enjoying the 5 pet therapy dogs that come to our section of the hospital! They are all so nice, so friendly. Olive is a massive, black, part Newfie; Reever is my fav, a Border terrier; Sally is small, black and her tail never stops wagging.

I have two relatively new dogs (since my other two have passed away since the last time I posted here ). Here's Sage, my German Shepard: And Chloe, my Belgian Malinois mix (the one on the left, she's a pistol!!): And my favorite picture of Chloe, when she was about 8 weeks old and tiny enough to fit under the coffee table:

Cute. In the middle picture, it looks like Chloe is trying to take the toy away from Sage. Pistol, indeed!

Yeah, she just wants Sage to play with her all the time, and likes to play tug-of-war with the rope toys. Sage however, usually doesn't play along...she just wants to hoard all the toys!!

Thanks! Okay, I couldn't resist....here's a video of Chloe's first taste of peanut butter. Sorry it's upside down, I couldn't fix it. And yes, that's me cackling insanely in the background!!

Yeah, she's a pistol, but she keeps our lives interesting! And you should see her watch TV. I mean, she REALLY watches what's going on, and if a dog or a horse comes by on screen, she races straight for the TV, barking like mad!
Sage is the really sweet one, even though she does get a little mean while guarding her toys.

Yargh.
It happened. Ellie and the stray got into a fight. Neither of them was hurt, thank goodness, but they're both P O'd...and they still want to get at each other! Ugh. How dumb can they be?

That's hysterical!!! She's so cute!!!! I didn't know she was a Belgian Malinois! I thought she was another Shepheard mix. I walk one every day! Her name is Nina and she's something else! She has a lot of energy.....
