Well, I don't remembers seeing that Ewan picture before. Very nice B&W. But it reinforces my opinion that Ewan's best physical feature is his face, but the rest of this is only a little above average. He does have a lot of moles, which is a strong characteristic in my family.

Sooooo...... I was trying to decide what movie of Ewan's I like best... besides the SW prequels. I haven't seen all of them, but most of them, and I have to say he really does choose his films well. But I don't think I can choose one over all. Here are some of my thoughts: I liked Big Fish. I like the narrative structure of the story, not to mention that it's touching, funny and very accurately larger than life! I liked "Nora". You feel from the point of view of each the main characters. And of course Moulin Rouge was spectacularly spectacular! I'm looking forward to seeing the Island in July! More thoughts, anyone?

I rally like "Moulin Rouge" and can't wait for "The Island." I liked "Big Fish" but can't say it was his best.

Yeah, his acting in Moulin Rouge was fantastic.... not to mention his singing... *sigh* Ahem. Anyway... here's a bit of a chilly one for a hot summer day!

I love "The Polar Bears of Churchill". I've watched it at least a dozen times. Our library has it, lucky for me.

I look upon the onset of The Island with some trepidation. The storyline is disturbingly similar to a 1970's movie about clones that was so bad that it got MST3Ked. And I think either the producer or the director (or both) are the same ones responsible for Armaggeddon, a movie that I seriously didn't like. I'm sure Ewan will be terrific, but the signs for his latest movie are not good.
Moulin Rouge was not my favorite film; the style was just too frantic, but distinctive. My cousin just hated Ewan's singing, but that was one of the parts of the movie that I really liked best. I wonder if they'll do a cast CD for Guys and Dolls?
I have to go rent Blackhawk Down sometime. I saw it in the theater, but I had no idea the Ewan was in it then.
