made from left over material for a friends star wars wedding today made in 6 hours. I know its not cannon but I think it turned out pretty good. Along with friends Tony and Jim from Garrison Tyranus who drove all the way from Richmond and stood outside in the sun in 92 degree heat just to help out. ;D and my youngest son who so badly wanted to be with the troopers but chickend out.

Cool! A SW wedding is always neat to see! That's pretty darn good for 6 hours!

Is your son camera shy? Or just hugging mom?

thanks! He isn't normaly camera shy and was constantly talking about the "spud" troopers until it came time to have his picture taken with Tony and Jim then he turned shy on me. My youngest son has one of the darth and trooper potato heads so now every time he see's a stormtrooper he calls it spudtrooper.

Young children are always unsure of people in masks, especially strangers. Bill gets that a lot in his trooper armor (he's a member of Tyranus, and I guess I am, but lost weight and my costume doesn't fit), but doesn't bother him as hes a father. Our son when he was young (he's 29 now) freaked out with his best buddy, Carlos back in 1980 when Carlos had on his vader costume (and yes, we all made our costumes back then too) and could do the voice. I could tell you the funniest story about that. Jade can't wait to meet you at Shevacon. My jedi costume, or the second one I did is purple suede. I think the only real canon on jedi and this is my opinion no matter is the Force. I catch too many inconsistencies in the films to say that is the only thing that makes a jedi. And yeah, I'll bing my costumes this time, though with doing panels and selling and signing books, have to figure when. Your costume looks good to me. JMD

I was very surpised he turned shy last second he had been waveing at Jim and shakeing Tony's hand and he had seen them at SheVaCon maybe he was being shy since Aimee was taking the picture. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at SheVaCon, now my goal is not to appear like a chicken with its head cut off.
