The meeting place will be in the 'Star Wars Novels' fourm...I'll start a new topic that day specifically for the book we are discussing. Then at 8pm CST we'll all discuss the book by posting in that topic.
Would you like to join us? We're reading Outbound Flight in July and discussing it on August 1st.

Hmmm... I'm still new here and never knew we had that feature! I think it would work. If it would work, I say we go there on bookclub night.
Let's ask Jedimom & Leda since I'm not sure...what do you girls think?

thing about chat is that you have to be there.....at that time to discuss it or else you dont get to participate....sounds fun, but might be better for everyone if we stick to forums....
i like the book club idea..
and will be glad to join in, when i can. I already read OF, but will be looking into the Darth Vader book.

That chat room is pretty useless. It works, but it always kicks me off of the forums, then I go back to the forums, and it boots me out of chat.... It will be nice to keep the thread to refer back to. Definitely go with the forum topic for the discussion. And as for the date of 9/5... some people might be just returning home from Dragon Con. It ends on Monday, but some folks leave on Tuesday. (Like me) Just FYI. Not sure who else is going to D*C, though, so it might not even effect the discussion at all. |
