Slave Ship....the 2nd book of the Bounty Hunter Wars Trilogy.
It was just ok...but the ending set up the last book really nicely!

I'm not so much into the post RotJ novels, although I did read the Thrawn Trilogy, and I Jedi. I like the stuff that happens just after the movie saga, but I think I will have to read all of that stuff in chronological order to appreciate it. That might take a while!
It's cool that some of the PT novels are referencing stuff from the post OT. It really connects everything. As long as the authors remember that not everyone has read all of the books!

Kyrtos Trap (book 3 in the X-Wing series) was excellent!!! I knew many of the things that were going to be revealed, but the Lusankya being a SSD blew me away!!!!
Best book for the series so far..I'm now excited to read more ;D

I finished the "bug" books, the 1st 2 were a bit difficult but when I got to #3 they all made sense. I did get a bit concerned about Jaina in them but it all worked out in the end. Since I really ;D like Qui-Gon I've read the Apprentice set a few times.I learn something new there each time to. I just finished re reading I'Jedi-- ;DI think it's my favorite. I get something new out of it on each re read. I got the sequal to bloodlines but have to wait for paper back. For me reading the EU books is like eating candy--with no calories--I love 'em.

OK. Finished the Force Heretic trilogy. It deals with the Yuuzen Vong war (near the end) and the search for Zonoma Sekot (a sentient Force Sensitive planet) in hopes it could help end the war.
now off to read THE FINAL PROPHECY & THE UNIFYING FORCE the last two in the war series (i think).

A good ending to a Looooong run of books in the NJO series. I did not realize there were so many (like 30 I think?)......I have read maybe half of them now and they cover a 5 year story arc in the late teens/just legal age of the twins.
Haven't read the ones where certain characters die yet.........might put me off.

The series had been up and down for me...
Rogue and Gamble were 7 out of 10 Kyrtos was 9 out of 10 Bacta was 4 out of 10 Wraith was 4 out of 10
So far I'm 1/2 way donw with Iron Fist and it's like a 7 ;D
Then there is just Solo Command, Isards Revenge and Starfighters Of Andumar (which I hear is really good!)

perhaps they score higher with the younger readers? I seem to recall they were aimed at teens?
