Consider movement stationary and the stationary in motion, both movement and rest disappear. When such dualities cease to exist Oneness itself cannot exist. To this ultimate finality no law or description applies.

I have always resolved to not make resolutions. They are dumb. If you decide you want or need to do something, the calendar should not enter into it! Let the Force guide you instead.

Write, write, write as always. Stick to eating carefully to add to the exercising I already do and lose some pounds. Do new things I haven't done in m y life before. JMD

I don't really make resolutions, either. The only one that matters to me is to continue being mindful and awake at all times.
Mon-Jas, I love your posts!

Mine is to start recycling more, to save power/fuel when I can, and to get rid of excess. I started by buying those green fabric bags at the grocery store... to put groceries in instead of using up plastic.

I've just started to recycle office paper and boxboard (like cereal boxes). Just doing that reduced my total garbage volume by almost half per week. Amazing! I already recycle newspaper, bottles, glass, cans and cardboard, but this blew me away! Lots of packaging can be recycled this way-toothpaste boxes, food boxes, etc.

I already use cloth grocery bags, but they're getting a little worn and I need to make new ones Canvas is a good material, but it's a bit bulky. Otherwise, I don't really have any resolutions. I'd worry too much about not keeping them.
And they don't recycle ANYTHING here in Florida. The south in general is VERY backward as far as recycling goes. My sister visited from Oregon -- where she recycles so much stuff she only have garbage pickup once a month -- and it was like a huge culture shock here and at my aunt's place in Alabama.

I already recycle newspaper, bottles, glass, cans and cardboard, but this blew me away! Lots of packaging can be recycled this way-toothpaste boxes, food boxes, etc. I used to do all of that and more... but when we moved, it was unclear what the requirements were for recycling, plus the trek with the glass up to the top of my driveway was a hindrance. So eventually I fell out of the habit. So far so good... but it's going to start to build up. The ice has been so bad lately that I didn't even take the trash up for a couple of weeks. Thank goodness I have a dumpster in the driveway... even though it looks like my old mini-van.
