As life continues to throw these horrible things at you ....you meet them on with unbelievable grace and humor... You are indeed more of a Jedi than any Jedi....you show the courage of real life! I bow to you....as always... Schph has said it all...... we love you....

I wish I had your spiritual fortitude, JediMom... I would say I shaved my head today in your honor but honestly I look better (and about 15 years younger) hairless. Of course my head gets cold easily. But my dern tuque won't stay on *he he* Hang in there Cor-al! We love you! PS. For those of you who don't know what a tuque is: Click right here

Thanks guys. I am pretty bummed, but you gotta do what you gotta do. At least this isn't like terminal cancer, but it does have a high rate of recurrence. So hopefully the radiation will zap it. And I'll just have a glowing personality for a while, LOL

Oh, Carol, I'm so sorry to read of this latest development. You have more challenges than any one person should!
I can imagine how distressed your son is, with both of you ill. There are groups for children whose parents are in cancer treatment. I was an Oncology Social Worker for 10 years, so if you need any resources, just let me know. I'm sure I can find something. Or seek out the social worker with the radiation oncology unit. All certified cancer treatment centers must have social workers available.
My continued prayers for you and your family.

Cor-Al,
So sorry to hear this disappointing new development. "Hope deferred makes the heart sick." (Proverbs 13:12)
Yuck.
You are such a trooper and an inspiration to the rest of us. We've just got to keep praying -- for effective treatment and healing but also strength and encouragement.
