Oooooh, you have definitely got a Marine Corps look, now.  But I'm glad the ultra-short hair has made life easier! Are you going with scarves, hats or wigs? Have you decided on something to go with your Jedi costume?

Right now I'm staying with hats. The bald spot on top was too much for the scarf to cover. Maybe now I'll try more of a du-rag. I have a brown hat like the ones I posted in my Jedi Headgear thread and I am hoping to do a scarf made of of tunic material aI can wrap around or do a du-rag from eventually. Everything's still healing. I have to watch out for dry skin on top, which I have because the radiation is still in my system. It is flaking and bleeding a little and I have to learn not to pick at it!

I know about the creams and such in the hair!!!! I used to buzz my son Adam's hair to deal with the ointment for his psoriasis. Messy stuff! He hated it. His scalp is still the worst part of his body besides his knees and elbows, but he seems to have rebelled against head shaving, and now looks a bit like weird Al.

Thanks! It actually doesn't lookas bad as I thought. I thought about it for weeks before I actually did it. I was afraid people would think I freaked like Britney Spears did, LOL.
Maybe I should join Master Tanthos as the Bald Jedi contingent

Honestly Cor, it really doesn't look that bad  I was expecting it to look bad...but it doesn't! I do think your glasses and eyebrows help...it keeps it still looking like you ;D Just tell people your a Brittnay Spears (sp) wannabe |
