Oooo.. cool. Right now I would have to wear if with a hat since my bald spot is bigger than most headbands, but I can't wait to see it! Good things headbands are coming back in style Thanks Kryy! You're welcome. You may not like it, but it might make an interesting embellishment for your snood or hood or whatever. Just try it and see -- I still like #1 -- the knit cloche reminds me too much of Ali McGraw in "Love Story". (Now I'm dating myself...) And the other one looks like you escaped the Agricultural Corps but went straight to KP. Do they serve Italian food at the Temple? I hope so. Speaking of food, I need to go home and feed my husband!

This one looks a bit like a chef hat, but I like it.... it goes with the cloak because of the gathers, I think. Looks a bit like what a lady would wear in medieval times, but in wool.

or... how about just making a kerchief out of the same fabric as your tunic or undertunic? That would look simple and not overdone.

I think the last one looks nice, too. How about using a headband with a head veil with that?

Hmmm... gives some food for thoughts. I didn't really like the chef hat but now I can see more how it might work better.
If I had some material left from my tunic I could do the headscarf thing.
Too bad my robe isn't wool. It would be even better. And my robe is more of a cinnamon color than dark brown. But stillll.... it is something to consider

I like the first one in the first photo and the "chef's hat" in the second.

There are hat patterns and you could make one out of the same fabric as your tunic.

yes, or use a combination of tunic and undertunic fabric. Can you find some similar?

I am getting this hat in black for everyday use. What about in brown or tan/beige for Jedi? It looks really comfy. I will find out when I get it in

There are hat patterns and you could make one out of the same fabric as your tunic. Vogue Patterns has some under "Accessories"... stuff like this: [ftp]http://img.sewingtoday.com/cat/20000/itm_img/V8309.jpg[/ftp] Most of these are "too much" but the one in the upper right corner could perhaps be adapted in one of your fabrics as discussed. Vogue seems to offer more hat patterns than the other companies. I was really "into" hats in the 80's and 90's when Princess Di was alive and we were in love with all things refined and British. I had a LOT of hats. Bottom line, you have to go with something YOU like and that fits the shape of your head and that you will have fun wearing.

The last time I made a hat was when I crocheted one in 5th grade!

Cool! Thanks for the help guys! I really lkike gettting other's opinions just to see what kind of ideas are out there. I am just trying to find somethng that says "Jedi"! I may have to go with a do-rag headwrap kind of style made out of tunic material of some sort
I kind of like that yellow one in the McCall's.. made out of robe material and maybe it could "flow" into the robe... hmmm.....maybe a cloak or hoodless robe instead of a hooded robe with the hat serving for my hood... hmmm...
