I went to home depot and got some industrial strength stick-on velcro. I stuck one piece to the underside of the belt clip (the surface that would touch leather) and another piece to the back of the belt. Then I took a spacer of stiff paper stock and covered the belt-velcro, and slid the covertec down over belt and spacer. Once I got the covertec positioned exactly where I wanted it, I withdrew the spacer. I still can't get the dam thing apart. Maybe if I break the belt-clip off the covertec... ~ Koda

Kai a self tapping screw has a point and quite a coarse thread. You will find them often holding plastic items together. They come in all sorts of lengths and sizes. I just used a very short one that was just a little bit longer than the thickness of the clip on the covertec. The hole I drilled just acts as a pilot hole for the screw. I used a No.6 x 1/2" in size on mine.

Well since I don't have a light saber yet I would have to say my weaker side on my left since I'm left handed.

I do my best when dueling/practicing to use both hands so neither is my weaker. and since I carry 2 sabres I don't crossdraw... I'm another unique case lmao

Being favored to my left hand, actually(odd for a Jedi, I know, but I naturally fight with my left hand as stronger while my right is better for writing and such), I tend to do it both ways. My custom saber from Random is a left hand setting, so it goes on my right side, while my Anakin saber is default righty, so it's on my left. *shrug*

Righthanded I prefer my strong side, much quicker for me. My left hand is ther to keep my balance.
