Looks great! It's easy to see that you've been doing your work. Good job!

Well......as a Jedi costume...it is a good start.... and a nice job...BUT if you are looking for "Saga" status...well...
A couple of things...with the understanding that photos don't always reveal the entire story...
Is that a white Karate Gi? If so.... we don't include white as an acceptable color...nor Karate Gi's for Saga (formerly "canon" status)....
Also....we do have a "no t-shirt" rule as far as the undertunic....you can do a full undertunic...or go the "cheater" undertunic route...which is kinda like a "dickey"...
Those would be the first two things I would address....
But...once again...as a non-Saga or non canon Jedi....you have a really nice start... and the robe looks great....
Once again....what one's costume looks like is not as important as what you are looking to achieve or take part in....and what your expectations are.... and as with most things in life...the most important thing is that you are happy with it....

- the shirt is made from the same material as the tabbards. its a slightly off-white "cream" color. (its not white).
- the shirt was made from Simplicity pattern 4450. (its not a karate Gi).
- I didn't like the d-i-ck-ie in simplicity 4450 so I passed on it. I haven't made an undertunic yet. (but I do I have 'food capsules' on order and a pouch for the belt)
- what is "saga" status?

ahhhh.....see....photos just don't render color right...
"Saga" is basically a re-work of the old term of "canon" ....

The costume looks good ... remember we need a head to toe shot to be considered for full membership ...

Great job! Yeah, I made a dickie from that pattern and I never wear it because it shifts around too much. One idea I had was to make just the front portion of the dickie and sew it to a comfy, v-neck t-shirt. I did this for my son, and he's able to wear the t-shirt, but it looks like the undertunic. Much like they did with Obi-Wan's undertunic in RotS. I'll see if I can find that picture.
What fabric did you use for the tunic?

Here it is... Your robe looks well done... and the belt buckle looks like you could use it when you make a permanent belt.

the fabric is poly/cotton with an almost 'denim' texture on the surface (ie:it has that same 'diagonal' surface texture that you see on denim), but its much thinner than denim so it flows better, and not at all heavy like denim would be. its actually really light (almost too light). I'm not sure what the technical term would be its the kind of stuff they make khaki pants from. (really thin khaki pants. -=========- the belt buckle is.. (get this) ..a piece of cardboard cut from an empty kleenex box, with foil tape wrapped around it. (I think its called "mylar" tape). it looks just like metal, but applies just like masking tape. heh. I smoothed it out with a putty knife I made a couple of them in various shapes and then just attached one to the existing belt buckle with a piece of scotch tape

wow... I would have never guessed! It looks like a metal buckle! lol
Sometimes a lighter fabric can be a relief at conventions when you are wearing many layers of clothing... and there are many people and it's hot!

Yes...what did you think of Simplicity 4450? - where I did buy the pattern, I have not used it. I kinda picked up a bunch of them for "posterity".
The reason I thought it was a Karate Gi is because it almost looks like the neckband has those parallel lines along it like a Gi....
I used the "dickie" pattern from Simplicity 5840....and I have had no problems with it....BUT I did make the part that drapes the shoulders and back a little larger than the pattern so it stays put better...and I ditched the part where you attach the ties to it....I simply pin it in place under the tunic...also seems to stay put pretty good. Most of the time I do go for accuracy and do wear the full undertunic...but when the mercury hits 90 degrees...I go with the "dickie"....

I think the simplicity pattern left a lot to be desired. I didn't make their robe (I made my own pattern). and I think their tunic is a bit.. too simple. I'd like to do a tunic with a 'skirt' seam under the obi and with collar trim that only goes to the waist (if that makes any sense).
my tunic probably looks like a karate gi because it has a lot of 'top stitching'. you can see it on the edges of the tabbards as well. I kind of went a bit overboard on the top stitching (heh).
it was kind of necessasry on the tabbards because they didn't want to lie straight. they kept "rolling" on themselves so you'd see the underside of the tabbards. I topstitched everything so it would lie straight. (heh)

hmmm. I've never had to top stitch my tabbards. You did iron them after sewing, right?
