When I made my first outfit Id never done any sewing and while Im still happy with it I decided it was time for a new one, afterall the well dressed Jedi has to have a change of clothes Anyway this is the result so far... and... I tried to take elements from a few different Jedi as well as a some influences from a couple of the computer games. Just got to get some outdoors pictures in natural light now. The undershirt (which you cant see anyway) is a natural cotton dyed a similar colour to the trousers im wearing. The Tunic is a real nice wool, which even though its warm breathes well. The tabbards are a natural heavyweight linen (about 6oz weight) with some wierd patterned material I saw for the contrast trimmings. The outer 'robe' is loosely based on Ki Adi and Serrissa Jengs and is also wool but a lighter material than the tunic. The Obi is a patterned material that I found, it actually has shades of brown matching the other colours pretty well and so ties everything togther. The belt is my normal one and the sabre is one of my luxeons. Even though its mainly wool its still lighter and cooler than my previous outfit. Comments appreciated.

Nice! I like the minimalist robe approach alot. It looks like the Jedi version of "Work-wear" (You know: the outfit you wear when you have some serious work to do) Very recognizeably Jedi and yet unique.
Looks like a good outfit for the tough missions..........

Looks like nice work, especially if you sewed it yourself!

Very impressive... you really do show that Jedi CAN be different and still be based on the earth tone colors.

the contrast of the tabbards to the tunic is pretty cool, makes it look unique

I love the costume!
One quick note, though. The belt seems to stand out against the darker, cooler browns. It might unify the costume more if you dyed or made a new belt to be the same hue. Just a thought, take care!

Is there black in the costume, or just dark brown?

The design is very nice and it looks good on you. Lighter tabards over a dark outfit is more unusual and distinctive. The slanted edges of the tabards is also unusal; is that from the game? It's tough to tell what pattern is on the obi, though it doesn't look brown at all in the picture.
