I'll post more detailed pictures when they are uploaded I used Ki-Adi-Mundi as a reference. Constructive criticism is always welcome. Anything else I need before I send in my application for acceptance?

Well done. I really like the vest look. Something different from the standard tabbards. Where did you purchase your boots?

That's very nice looking. Is the whole emsamble comfortbale? Thanks you Oh yes, very comfortable- even more so in the nice hot weather Ohio has in the summer time! Well done. I really like the vest look. Something different from the standard tabbards. Where did you purchase your boots? Thanks! I purchased the boots from a seller on eBay. If you're interested, I'll toss you his contact info via PM.

Yes very nice! I love the Ki-Adi look...it's different, yet sooo Jedi! Will you be making tabards for it? Ki-Adi's costume does have them, they're under the vest.

Very nice!
I've always wanted to make a shorter, sleeveless, tuck-under-your-belt robe like yours. Did you make your own pattern for it?

Thanks And yes, I will be adding tabbards. I just need to figure out a better way to make them. I wasn't pleased w/ the pattern I used (Simplicity, I believe?), so I'm going to try a come-up with my own shortly, then slap some velcro on there to hold them in place. I love velcro As far as the pattern for the vest goes, I went with a Simplicity Cape/robe pattern and just modified it so it's round at the end instead of long. I measured it to my height, then trimmed accordingly.

My latest tunic was made with the simplicity 4450 pattern (space knight or whatever they name it - it is the Jedi pattern without the name) I 100% agree their versions of tabbards (shoulder armor?) are not great. I myself made mine very simple and it is VERY efficient - plain straight piece of fabric sewn properly. You shouldn't have much problems having them look like you want.

I generally do the straight ones, though I have also done some with a slight curve at the shoulder as well, some like them better, some don't, they are just slightly less prone to sliding off the shoulders, and the curve is very slight, not as pronounced as the 4450, they do take more fabric do make than the straight ones.

Nice variation. I love the standard Jedi costumes, but I also like to see people think out of the box.
