Hey everyone, Has anyone ever noticed the arm wrappings of Obi-Wan during Episode II? Thoughts and suggestions on how to make this would be great

I didn't see any arm wrappings on Obi Wan, although from some camera angles and the Clone Wars cartoon, I can see how it can appear like it's a wrapping instead of the shirt sleeves bunching around hsi wrist. This is most likely what you'er seeing. Quinlan Vos in the comics DOES have arm wrappings.. Now if you'er wanting to to make wrappings for your particular costum charactor, you could labouorisly wrap your arms each costuming event. This would take a long time and can be a massive hastle. You could make a tube of frabic to fit your arm, almost like a very long glove minus the fingers.

Ah,yes, I was decieved! Though the arm wrapping idea does seem neat . . . maybe I'll try that at some point. I'm waiting for these to come in so I can start my Jedi costume I have a week of vacation coming up soon and I'm going to dedicate it to sewing up some robes and a couple tunics. I'm still working on some designs (away from the tradition Jedi attire), but we'll see what I end up with.

Those look like boots from the guy in Singapore; I saw them the last time I searched for 'Qui-Gon Jinn costume' on ebay. He's generally gotten good reviews from people, but he doesn't have boots like that in my size.

Mmmmm, there's only so much you can do with socks. They can compensate for a half size too big. When you go to larger sizes, the boots are also too wide as well and you have really big feet when you're not used to them. There's no substitute for a well fitted boot.
