Nice job. I like the grooves on the main belt.
I would recommend slicking the edges of all the leather pieces. That gives everything a more professional appearance (IMHO).

Jaryk, really nice job, that looks great!
Rebelscum,What is the meaning of the term slicking? How is it done? I'm thinking of giving belt making a try myself.

Nova - Slicking is a process that compresses the fibers on the edge of the belt to make them smooth. It's easy an it only takes a few minutes. Here's how it's done. 1) Use a beveler to trim the edges of the leather. 2) Moisten the edge of the leather with a sponge. 3) Using a circle edge slicker or a bone folder, rub the edge of the leather until the fibers look smooth and shiny. 4) Dye the edges, if desired. If you need more information about the tools I mentioned, see the Tandy website at www.tandyleather.com I hope this helps.

Great looking belt!
It looks like it could use a couple sets of studs near the buckle though. So it doesn't sag as much

Thanks too, I've never been into leather work, so, I'm going to need to ask questions and get some new tools I guess.
