In the the new SW book Triple Zero Jedi knight Bardan Jusik is given, and wears a suit of Mandalorian armor. Is this a Costume we can wear as a member of the TJA?

That sounds really cool. I suppose it would be along similar guidelines as Obi-Wan in clone armour. I'd like to hear an answer too. I've started working with sintra and it's really easy, so that might be a good costuming idea down the road.

Well, if the character is a Jedi, then reading over the Code and specifically this part, I should think it would be allowed, but it would definitely need Council approval:

Who cares if its canon enough for official events - make it anyway! It would be an awesome costume, I'm thinking along the lines of Clone Wars Obi Wan but with Mandalorian armour yeah? Sounds brilliant to me.

That wouldn't work because Obi-Wan never wore mandalorian armor about the canon costume the jedi assembly cares if it is canon enough for official events and so does lucas

TJA cares about canon for TJA-sanctioned costumes. That doesn't mean a non-canon costume may not be made just because someone is a member of TJA. I'd love to see this. As far as I'm concerned, there aren't enough armoured Jedi seen. It's pretty much just been in Clone Wars and some other parts of the EU.

Yesh, armor isn't fulfill the requirements for a canon costume, but it would still be a cool thing to wear at a con. Though I must admit I'm not interested in adding armor to my costume. I kind of like it simple and armor can pinch. I'll let the stromtroopers do that.

The Clone armour is based on Mandalorian armour, however, Bardan is undercover when he's in the armour, so I don't guess he's wearing it as part of a Jedi garb, didn't he just look like the rest of Delta squad?. There's nothing wrong with the idea at a con or other event that isn't TJA, as for is it ok for a santioned event, we haven't discussed the idea yet, is there a clear desciption of the armour and it's colour etc. I did read it, but was to involved with the plot at the time, I'll more than likely re read this again later, I really liked the book.

I'll reread the section let you know. The only part that may be questionable is the color.

But you can still see that he's a Jedi, because the robe and tunic bottom and tabbards are showing. I think that Delta & Bardan might have worn Black Armor, or was it Omega that got the black? I really do have to read that again. The short story in the last issue of Insider was pretty good too.

Omega wore Black Katarn Armor, Delta wore white and painted Katarn armor, Vau wore Black Mandalorian armor, and Kal wore sand colored Mandalorian armor but I can't find any discription of Bardan's.
