Wow! The longer tunic does look really nice on you! You have a nice collection of Jedi costumes! And sabers.....

Thanks! The long tunic is nice, though it does have disadvantages, like having to pick it up when you climb up stairs. it did take me a few years to build up the costumes, but they'll last.

Granny-Wan, and this is referring to the Mara outfit you made. My girlfriend's favorite Jedi is Mara, and that happens to be one of her favorite Outfits Mara has. She would love to have it as a costume, but I would need to know how to go about making it, because I plan on making a Luke Costume eventually. So if you would like to give some pointers on it so that when I am able to make the Costumes I can make her that one, or she could have her Sister make that one, which is the same one making her the Padme one.

Oh that's very dramatic! Very beautiful and Sithy. Will you wear it at DragonCon? And how did you do the eyes? Are you wearing contacts?

Great costume, Jara! (...or "Akris" if you're Chiss )~ Koda Thank you, Koda and Rhydo. And yup, it is Akris. You're the first person to call me that without an extremely long explanation! Ahh a Chiss Jedi. Awesome. :-) I'd be curious of Akris' background, and as Chiss go, her family and House. All of you guys' costumes are amazing. Shafo, have I bunmped into you in Temple somewhere? Maybe chatting with Cin? :-D Your ear is awesome too. I looks at these and look a tmy stuff and think, I've a long way to go. I enjoy seeing all these.

Ahh a Chiss Jedi. Awesome. :-) I'd be curious of Akris' background, and as Chiss go, her family and House. Thanks. I based my name of Mitth'ras'safis' so I guess I would be from House Safis as he is. One day I aspire to being able to afford full red contacts so that I can truly be a Chiss... Eventually I plan to write a long convoluted explanation for how a Chiss came to be among the Jedi. But for now I just stick to hyperdrive malfunction which left the ship I was on in the known regions. There will be a story for why I was then left in the temple rather than going home...

Akris, that's a good start, well you can always send me a PM with the story too. Jumped beyound the red line huh? :-)
I got a replica costume accepted at the Rebel legion, although the pic isn't very good IMHO. I'm a tad crosseyed. I'll upload a better pic.

Well, I started working on my Jedi general about a thousand years ago. It has gone through serveral design changes (all mental) and is still not "done", but I did wear this version to The Clone Wars premier, last week. This was made from one of my old tunics. I shortened the outter tunic a bit and the sleeves were cut and folded-over under the clone forearms. The cloak is shredded and burned in areas, but I didn't have time to add any dirt and weathering to the cloth parts. I still plan to take a LOT of material out of the body of the outter tunic. It's way too big and bunches up too much. I already have pleates sewn into the skirt portion of the outter tunic, so all that extra material is unnecessary and only adds bulk. I'm also going to make the sleeves on the outter tunic much smaller.
