These pics Bite. Im not sure if it was the flash, or not enough light. I tryed to enhance them as best as i could to make them viewable. I took these with one of those cheap disposable cameras. Normally they dont take bad pics, but they did this time Ill get the digital camera and re-take them asap and update this post, when i take them. Qui-Gon Hair, Full body The robe really isnt that fuzzy I Think I got the hood right, took 3 trys at a test pattern till i settled on this size. Threw in a couple of my comlink, again, sorry for the bad pics. This isnt a real bad pic, but i put it in for any Art Bell Fans, Yoda is Watching over me. (Notice the orb) ;D *Edit Ok I wasnt going to, but I added this one too. Just one with a lit Saber, I was in a hurry, I tryed to look determined, instead got mad i think, The Tunic is raw Silk Noil, its more of a cream color, flash washed it out a bit, and for those Black Jedi Parts people, you know what color my boots are, but as with the arguments, bad lighting makes it look black. Its not a perfect outfit. After watching EP3 for the 100th time, i think the tabbards are a bit to thin, and a bit too long. The under tunic needs to be a darker brown, it was Silk Noil too, but came a light brown, that, I can die darker im sure. I want to be a full member, but dont want to submit these pics, Ill wait till i get better ones.

That's a fantastic costume The blurriness of the photos does nothing to conceal that it's a really good costume

Well done! Even with the bad image quality, your Jedi garb looks great! Can't wait to see better photos.

Wow, Magus... very nice. I wouldn't have noticed the thinner tabbards unless you pointed them out, still, they're only a hair thin. I think if you shortened them a bit, it would give them the illusion of being wider. I have the same problem with my latest costume. I made the tabbards too narrow. Easier to shorten them than it is to remake them.

I think the tabards look fine I'd rather see thinner tabards than really thick ones that hang way over the shoulders ;D

Nice costume. One hint though. If its possible to you'd look better without the glasses since Jedi don't wear glasses. I take mine off when I'm in costume unless I'm doing something that requires me to be wearing them.

Aye the glasses are a curse to all Jedi (even to a certain Wannabe ) Looks mighty good though. Take it from me, better to have thin tabbards than rediculiously wide ones. I should know.

The costume is looking very good. The tabards don't look too long to me (does the tunic look short?); the tabards on Qui-Gon and Mace are pretty long. I'm not sure how you made the tabards, but they can be the easiest part of a costume to modify by either shortening them or adding an extra strip of fabric that will widen them, but be on the inisde of the tabards where it won't be seen.
The tunic looks a little tight on your hips. Is it comfortable to move around in?

very nice !!!! if those pics are good enough for full membership (I'd pass them) then go for it. You can always add better pics later (I'd suppose).

Thanks Guys, All the research payed off i guess. I have some left over fabric (I always buy more then i need in case) might remake the tabs. I was aiming more for Obi-Wan then Qui-gon, thats the only reason the Tabs bugged me. The tunic i think is the right length, it may have rode up a little is all, as long as it covers the pockets, plus it depends which episode you watch. The Obi lays pretty flat at all times, (we added One layer of stiffening to it) thats probably why it looks tight, it fits great On me, Feels so comfortable, If I wouldnt get locked up id wear it more often, hehe Funny quick story, I stopped at BurgerKing, they guy at the window was real funny, he said "Hey, your one of those Knights arnt you?" yes, a Jedi "Yea i just watched that move, you got a Saber?" I lifted it up from the seat next to me, he says "COOL" So many people Halloween asked why the light blade didnt come out of the saber when they pressed the button, LOL Just funny to me, im new to all this, I have about 20 pair of regular contacts here, bought a years supply once, they are just a pain in the butt to get out for me, and lasic or whatever is still a bit expencive. I took a couple without the glasses, but those were real dark. Leda, I guess i can always send a better pic when I can take them is all, Guess Ill look up where to send the pic to. next, I still want to build a blade for the saber, and a full under tunic. Right now I have the Dic*ie Pinned to a T shirt. I thought about adding arms to it, even before i saw the shots Of what they used in Ep3. Its a Start

The costume looks fantastic. I can see that you didnt take any shortcuts either - thats a nice looking lining. If you keep the tabbards closer together you wont notice them being any thinner than regular, just get rid of the gap that can be seen between them. I can see you're leaning more towards an Obi Wan costume... I guess it would be impossible to convince you to do a Qui Gon replica (your hair is perfect for it! ) Seriously though, your costume is fantastic. Is the robe wool?

Thanks Seda, Yes the robe is wool. I used a Wool Coating from Denver Fabrics. www.denverfabrics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=001&Product_Code=20110If i ever re-do it, im going to use their Wool Flannel, its a little thinner. www.denverfabrics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=18949Its Heavy and comfortable, it reminds me more of the EP2 robe, then the EP3, the EP3 i think is more like the Flannel. Plus that flannel link has a nice Pattern on the inner side, just like the EP3 robes did. (I got swatches before i bought) It was warm on halloween when it got cold here, but breaths nice. Also, Maybe the next one ill do Qui-Gon, besides, if Qui-gon hadnt died, wouldnt Obi-wan become more like his Master, seems padawans seem to take on the charicteristics of their teachers
