That just goes to show how a costume can improve by leaps and bounds when you pay attention to the details... like shoulder tucks, color matching... etc. And those pouches really make the costume authentic looking, as do the accurate boots. I like the visual progression... it's an encouragement to those just starting, I think!

Thank you Leda! There will be 1-2 more progressions left I hope I have helped anyone starting out to know that it just takes time...and details For me there is never enough details

I really like the saber that you have in the picture where you first had the leather tabards, was it assembled or custom machined? If it was assembled, what did you use as the end pommel? I really like the detail of it Also, totally unrelated to costuming, the property where that photo was taken, do you know if it was haunted ashere are some very clear orbs showing? (left tabard, right tabard and a brighter one near the door) On topic, the thread's an excellent showcase of your skills

Hey, it was half and half. I borrowed a lathed stunt saber that had a large tapped recesses to attach another saber to make double sided. I then took a 1.25" tube but it down attached a metal sink knob and added electrical tape and O-rings for modding it, and viola! The orbs are just dust fragments on the lense I'm afraid Thanks for the comments!

It's certainly come out looking good, especially the pommel detail. I had a feeling it might've been a sink knob, as they seem to make the best pommels. I'd planned to use one on my curved saber, but wasn't able to find anything in the right size, so in the end, I wound up using the rubber end piece to a walking stick Are you sure about the orbs? The ones on the tabards seem pretty well defined, but particularly the one nearer the door, that's actually brighter... It'd be interesting to check other pictures taken at the same time to see if they were repeated You're more than welcome
