Yeah Jen, great topic!
I'm coming to terms with the fact that I may have to get a real paying job if the painting doesn't get off the ground, but I'd prefer it be in something related to painting or color. I'm thinking home depot....

Leda, my sis works in the paint dept, at Lowe's (like Home Depot) here. She killed her back becuase basiclly all you do is lug around 50-gallon buckets of paint. Yes ther is some consulting and mixing going on, but most of it is hauling
Try maybe a Hobby Lobby or Michael's in the art dept.

Leda, i have a buddy in austin, tx that is an artist and for a day job he does house painting....lots of "faux finishes" and those types of things that require a little more than just a roller. He also has done a few gigs painting murals. He's done jungle scenes and army scenes for kids' bedrooms, etc. do you have any samples of your work? My occupation: on May 19th, i GRADUATE from Louisiana State University medical school. I will be starting a residency training program in general surgery at the university of cincinnati. That will last from five to seven years (depending on research). My wife is also a doc. She graudated from med school a year ago. currently, she's nearly completed one year of residency training at Cincinnati Children's hospital, training in Pediatrics, Child Psychiatry and Psychiatry. She has four years left. very soon, i'll be Dr. Den!!!
